The Republic of Serkovy is a huge, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its keen interest in outer space, anti-smoking policies, and stringent health and safety legislation. The compassionate population of 576 million Serkovians are prohibited from doing almost everything except voting, which they do timidly and conservatively.

The large, moralistic, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Karavec. The average income tax rate is 74.7%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The very strong Serkovic economy, worth 52.3 trillion Dinars a year, is quite specialized and dominated by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Tourism, Arms Manufacturing, and Beef-Based Agriculture. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 90,824 Dinars, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The government is proudly free of crabs, people faint regularly as they get stuck with compulsory vaccinations, doctors prescribe medicines but they rarely dispense hope or compassion, and selling your granddad's clothes requires an incredible amount of paperwork. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Serkovy's national animal is the Serkovic Warmblood, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Serkovy is ranked 24,895^th in the world and 694^th in The North Pacific for Most Extensive Public Healthcare, scoring 4,321.38 on the Theresa-Nightingale Rating.
