The Kingdom of Prydania is a titanic, safe nation, ruled by King Tobias III Loðbrók with an even hand, and renowned for its pith helmet sales, free-roaming dinosaurs, and absence of drug laws. The devout population of 23.79 billion Prydanians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The enormous, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Education, Healthcare, and Industry. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Býkonsviði. The average income tax rate is 87.5%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Prydanian economy, worth a remarkable 2,910 trillion Krosses a year, is quite specialized and led by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Tourism, Book Publishing, and Arms Manufacturing. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 122,320 Krosses, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Citizens recently voted in favour of declaring bubblewrap an 'abomination of nature', accusations of corruption stick when the accused are long-gone, owning a fishing rod can cause you to be subject to military questioning, and descriptions of properties as "a stone's throw from the city centre" require a trebuchet to be true. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Prydania's national animal is the Stag, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Laurenist Messianism.

Prydania is ranked 8,096^th in the world and 329^th in The North Pacific for Most Developed, scoring 92.01 on the Human Development Index.
