The Dominion of Drystar is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, renowned for its sprawling nuclear power plants, otherworldly petting zoo, and complete absence of social welfare. The compassionate, hard-working, democratic population of 44.541 billion Drystarians hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The medium-sized, liberal government juggles the competing demands of Education, Defense, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Drystar City. The average income tax rate is 69.3%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Drystarian economy, worth a remarkable 8,652 trillion dockets a year, is mostly made up of the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Tourism, Book Publishing, and Retail. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is an impressive 194,260 dockets, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Making up random numbers to name new asteroids is the bulk of astronomers' work, apples shaped like baguettes have become a strange new food fad, the government is proudly free of crabs, and the real art was the AI friends we made along the way. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. Drystar's national animal is the red hawk, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Drystar is ranked 44,902^nd in the world and 809^th in the South Pacific for Highest Average Tax Rates, with 69.28 Effective Tax Rate.
