OMG thank you so much. You have no idea how much that means to me. I have tried to use photoshop and a few map making websites. I couldn't wrap my brain around photoshop, ran out of time on the subscription, and didn't want to keep paying. The websites were not very good and also wanted money. I personally don't want the flag to be a constellation, but would still use it. This isn't supposed to be too sci-fi of a nation though. I'm a bit torn as to what I want to put on my flag though. I know I want a wreath. The colors should be cyan (or light blue), white, and yellow. How about this: a field of cyan, two white stripes on the left side, and a cyan shield with a yellow-gold or white rim (which ever looks better), in the middle. The lower side of the shield is wrapped in a yellow-gold laurel. There are three white stars on the shield, each representing the nation's different cut-off territories, facing away from each other similar to the stars on the Micronesian flag. I don't want too much going on in the flag though, so if you think the flag would look better without something, you can remove it. The two stripes represent the two founding states, paying homage to Mexico. The shield represents the founding coalition, with the laurel representing the monarchy or the empire. The three stars represent the three territories cut off from each other by borders and the sea, but could also represent the three struggles for independence. I will still give you total creative freedom. You can build on the current draft map if you want to. You can turn the yellow white if it makes the flag look better. You can make the two stripes yellow instead of white. I will graciously accept regardless. |
Aight, i got a second draft before starting making the actual one, stars will be pointing outwards from the flag center, which will have a 3 sided star, with a red center. |
