German AI Commission Founded
The Kaiser just signed a new directive today that created a commission to study AI and potential AI regulations. Unlike some nations that may regulate AI based on irrational fear, the German government decided to fund research into the matter. Because Germany has always been more AI friendly, some AI critics believe that the commission may be a play to justify the government's own position on AI to a wider audience. The government meanwhile states that while the Commission takes its time to do its research, there is no evidence that AI has any major inherent issues that would necessitate a more rapid study.

Four Labour MPs escorted from Commons after protest against Prime Minister

Four Labour MPs have been escorted from the House of Commons after disrupting a speech by Prime Minister Oliver Stirling and refusing repeated instructions to leave.

The confrontation began during a debate on industrial investment, as Mr Stirling accused previous Labour and Conservative governments of allowing Britain’s manufacturing communities to decline.

Several Labour MPs rose to their feet, shouting accusations of intimidation and demanding answers about the Black Daggers, the volunteer organisation affiliated with the governing National Association of British Workers.

The Speaker repeatedly called for order before instructing four MPs to withdraw for the remainder of the sitting. When they refused, proceedings were briefly suspended and the Serjeant at Arms was called to assist.

The group eventually left under escort, with one MP continuing to shout towards the government benches. No physical confrontation took place.

Prime Minister attacks “the same old parties”

Speaking afterwards, Mr Stirling dismissed the protest as “a performance from a party that has run out of arguments”.

“Labour had years to stand up for these communities. The Conservatives had years to reverse the damage. Between them, they left towns with fewer jobs, declining high streets and promises nobody believed any more,” he said.

“Now Labour members shout down a debate on rebuilding British industry and expect to be applauded for it. They can dislike this government as much as they please. They will still have to let Parliament do its work.”

Asked whether his own language had contributed to the confrontation, the Prime Minister refused to soften his criticism.

“My opinion of Labour and the Conservatives is hardly a secret. But I am accountable for what this government delivers, and they are accountable for how they conduct themselves.”

Labour accuses Stirling of avoiding scrutiny

One of the MPs escorted out said the protest followed repeated attempts to question the government about the Black Daggers.

“The Prime Minister prefers attacking the opposition to answering it,” the MP said. “We want clear answers about the relationship between his party, this organisation and the exercise of power.”

The NABW says the Black Daggers are a lawful volunteer organisation involved in community assistance and emergency support.

A Conservative spokesperson criticised both the disruption and the Prime Minister’s response, saying Parliament needed “serious scrutiny and a government prepared to engage with it”.

The sitting resumed shortly afterwards. The Speaker reminded MPs that disagreement with a speech did not justify preventing it from being heard.

HIGHWAY SURVEYS BEGIN AS WHET EXPLORES FUTURE RAIL LINK

WHETWICK — Survey and planning work for the proposed Red Sea Coastal Highway has officially begun following the Government of Jumhuriat Wheten’s agreement with Infiny to finance the project. Teams from the Ministry of Public Works have begun preliminary surveys along the proposed approximately 750-kilometre route between Wickton in the south and Whetwurth in the north, including the planned 80-kilometre bypass around Whetwick. The initial phase will focus on establishing the final alignment while identifying suitable locations for bridges, drainage works, service areas, freight facilities, and future commercial development.

Particular attention is being given to the use of previously developed land. Ministry officials confirmed that abandoned industrial sites, disused commercial properties, and vacant residential areas will be considered wherever practical in order to reduce the need for new land acquisition and minimise disruption to existing communities. Environmental assessments will also form a significant part of the survey process, with engineers instructed to avoid sensitive coastal areas and minimise disruption to natural drainage patterns and local ecosystems.

Quoting the Minister of Public Works Hassan Tayeb: “We are not simply drawing a line from one point on the map to another, the alignment must work for the communities that live alongside it, for the businesses that will depend upon it, and for the environment through which it will pass.”

The project is expected to take several years to complete once detailed design and construction begin. Meanwhile, officials from Whet have begun preliminary discussions regarding the possibility of developing a future railway connection with neighboring Infiny. The proposal remains at the feasibility stage, with no construction timetable or financing agreement currently in place. The Ministry of Transport has indicated that any future railway would primarily serve freight traffic, linking Whet’s principal port at Whetwick with inland distribution centres and the Infinian rail network. A dedicated freight railway could eventually provide an alternative to long-distance heavy trucking and allow larger volumes of bulk commodities, petroleum products, minerals, agricultural goods, and containerised cargo to move between the two countries. Premier Lazarus Abdel described the proposal as a long-term consideration rather than an immediate commitment.

Quoting Premier Lazarus Abdel: “The Republic must distinguish between what is desirable and what is presently affordable, a railway may prove economically advantageous in the long term. Before committing public funds, however, we must establish precisely what such a system would cost, what traffic it could reasonably attract, and whether its revenues would justify the expenditure.”

The Government has stressed that the proposed railway should not be viewed as a replacement for the Red Sea Coastal Highway. Rather, officials see the two projects as potentially complementary components of a broader national transportation network. For the moment, however, the focus remains firmly on the highway. Survey teams will continue working along the proposed corridor in the coming months, with the Ministry of Public Works expected to publish preliminary findings once the initial assessments have been completed. After decades in which much of the Republic’s transportation infrastructure remained concentrated around Whetwick, officials say the objective is straightforward: to create a reliable north-south transportation corridor capable of supporting Whet’s next stage of economic development.

It is, as Premier Abdel reportedly remarked during a Cabinet briefing, “a rather long road.”

Dear Sir,

Further to the detailed conversations between our ministers and their civil servants I can confirm the agreement to deport undocumented migrants without reason to remain, failed asylum seekers, and criminals will be deported to the FEUSSR for use as labour.

Under the terms of the agreement;

- deportees will be sent (if applicable) with their belongings, documentation, valuables and money, in good medical condition
- no deportees over 65 or under 16, severely disabled people or pregnant women will be sent
- each deportee will be named and provided with a dossier outlining criminality, age (estimated or confirmed), gender, languages spoken and qualifications (claimed/confirmed)

The flights will take place at the expense of France and the inaugural flight is estimate to take place in the first week of July.

Prime Minister Khoshkam Calls for End of British Occupation of Qatar}

Prime Minister Parviz Khoshkam called for the end of the British occupation of Qatar while speaking to the Maljis about national and regional security in the Maljis earlier today. Prime Minister Khoshkam states that the occupation is a continuation of twentieth-century imperialist ideals and a threat to both the regional security of the Middle East and to the national security of Iran. Khoshkam also called for allies of the UK to pressure the kingdom to withdraw from the Middle East.

Prime Minister Khoshkam, Minister of Foreign Affairs Aziz Heydarpanah, and Minister of Defense Kambiz Jabarzadeh have issued a joint statement that the Republic of Iran will take appropriate actions if the occupation persists. They stated that Iran is willing to meet with the UK in an attempt to broker a deal that will result in the departure of British forces from Qatar. The Iranian Armed Forces has been and will continue to monitor the situation in the Persian Gulf. No official statement has been released detailing what actions Tehran is considering to take against the British occupation at this time.

The middle aged man stood near the viewing window while the suspect shouted profanity at the cameras in the secure room. The nearby display replayed the events that led to his capture and current stay in the mountain, 2800 feet below ground. Pike Peaks was not just another part of the Cheyenne Mountain Complex System. The nearby guard snorted before schooling his features as the unknown man looked at him with a blank expression.

"Something amuse you Jackson or are you that tired from the pursuit?" the man asked

The guard, Jackson, straighten more before replying "No Director. Just had something stuck in my throat is all sir."

The Director stared at him for a moment more before he glanced at the feed again "I see....well, perhaps you can explain why I have received a message that Deputy Director Gallows is making her way down here.."

Jackson had only enough time to say "I beg your pardon?" before the doors to the room open and Rebecca Gallows strode in and if the expression on her face was anything to go by, she was beyond amsued.

"Michael," she began, her eyes showing weariness from the flight, descent and angry all at once "What part of informing your Deputy that you've decided to go on a field expedition did you forget? Do you know how many times Sara called me because she couldn't get ahold of you? And why in God's name did you ghost your Secret Service detail?! Special Agent Upham chewed my head off like I was at fault!"

the now named Michael blinked twice before he again glanced at the feeds "The target attempt to flee after trying to assassinate Governor Kleiner and then tried to hold a field trip of 4th grade students hostage. The fact he'ss till breathing shows I showed restraint." he replied evenly

Gallows massaged her head before pinching the bridge of her nose and looked at her boss "That's all well and good he was stopped but you were told by both the President and your own daughter to not take the field again for the time being. President Vanderbilt had to explain to several foreign dignitaries that you were unavailable for any meetings to talk about your past exploits while President. He was p*ssed off to the point he threatened to come to Mount Weather in person!"

Michael blinked again behind his glasses before he removed them to clean them and replied "Be that as it may Rebecca, tracking and capturing a target such as this alive takes precedence over all other functions. A Federal Death Warrant is no laughing matter. And I would rather handle this one personally than let him face sentencing in the field. And it is far better that such interrogation here. And as the Director of the Division, I and I alone determine whether the target lives or dies in the field when a Federal Warrant is active. Seeing how he did not kill the Governor or harm those children..he got better than most. He cohorts though were not as lucky. Currently, they occupy the morgue at Site 54. One was a convicted rapist, the youngest victim being eight. In yate's opinion...he died to quick. Tell me Rebecca...do you currently see Yates here?"

Gallows, understanding what the Director meant by that, sighed "I take it yates was sent north to Nome then for Reassignment..." she finished, shaking her head

Michael nodded, turning his attention back towards the restrained suspect, Nazi tattoos now showing under his sleeves. His back still towards Gallows and the door, he spoke one last time, never breaking eye contact with the man in the chair "Once we have the info we require...that man will go to the deepest levels of this complex and will never be seen again. That is exactly what my final report to Tom will be. Precise and to the point. That should dampen his anger some I suspect. Now then..." he turned towards the door and held it open "Shall we leave this lovely billet or you would rather eat the stuff they pass as food in the commissary for dinner?"

Gallows grumbled and began to wonder how Agents Carter and Cross managed to endure their stint as his detail five years ago. She left the room, giving Michael the stink eye, followed by Jackson, leaving only the Director in the doorway. He took one last look at the chained man and closed the door.

Sometimes...being taken alive was a fate worst than a bullet to the head...

Mogadíshu | Following calls by Prime Minister Khoskham of Vashnal, Minister of Foreign Affairs Xitán Minenko has stated in an interview that she wishes to see "an end to British presence in Qatar, and the continuation of sovereign responsible government inside the peninsular nation."

"We continue to recognize that the The United British Kingdom intervention in Qatar has been necessary and appropriate" stated Minenko. "Yet, we cannot support an indefinite British presence in the Gulf. Qatar remains a sovereign nation and should be treated as such. With the British mission conflcuded, it is time to begin working on an orderly withdrawal and a transfer of power to the relevant Qatari authorities."

The British Occupation of Qatar follows a counter-terrorist mission against the international terrorist cooperative known as JAHAN, which also featured limited Infinian intervention that led to the collapse of Cabinet Cyseia I. The Conservatives with whom Cyseia's USP govern now have been generally supportive of British presence in Qatar, seeing it as a "necessary presence to ensure stability in a troubled region. "The presence of our parners have ensured an increase in safety from terrorist acitivy that have plagued many states for years now," stated party leader Yana Qevu when pressed on the changing position of the Conservatives. "National sovereignty is a right given to every country. I believe it is important that responsible government and self-determination are present in Qatar, as well. I'm confident that our friends in London share that sentiment."

Upstate New York, darkened manor

The muffled grunt of a man and woman, who had clearly seen better days, could be heard coming out the living room of the opulent manor in this neck of New York. The kind of place some rich kid and his parents would stay during summer. And with Saratoga not that far away, it made a nice place for vacations. Unfortunately for the bound and gagged individuals in the chairs dead center of the room, this was not a vacation.

A woman then entered their field of view and their struggling stopped as their eyes widened in fear and recognition. The woman took a moment to watch their expressions change before a feral grin appeared on her face.

"Well now," she began "isn't this a treat? Two of ghe biggest fish in the nation wanted for murder, sellingnof state secrets, attempted kidnapping of a former President's son, planning an attack on said former President's daughter and even High Treason? Must be my lucky day after all!" She exclaimed with a laugh

The bound man managed to get the gag off his face just long enough to start cursing "Go f*ck yourself Moretti you f*cking lying c*nt! We had a dea-" The man managed to get out before the now identified Moretti gagged him again, this time ensuringnhe would be unable to spit it out

"See Sammy my man, as much as I would LOVE to debating the meaning of whatever deal you made with Justice, let me just clarify this for you: It dont mean sh*t to me or my boss. So if you thought taking a plea deal and turning State evidence was gonna save your pathetic hide from me...you are sorely mistaken." Moretti stated coldly

She moved away from both individuals before turn on her heel and grabbing a nearby bottle

"Besides...you only delayed the execution Sammy. You should have known that by burning your bridges..." She flicked open the bottle and start spraying both bound individuals and then lit a Zippo lighter, the flame reflecting off her glasses "it would only be a matter of time before you burned yourself as well."

With that declaration, she threw the lighter on both, their muffled screams echoing through the manor as the fire spread to nearby furniture.

Moretti left without a concern, exiting the door as the fire spread to the upper floors, her team already getting back into their cars and driving off into the night, leaving nothing but flaming timber, crumbling brick and blackened bones behind.
