Four 1861 what were the biggest mistakes the confederacy made and what were the most important battles that the confederacy lost 1961 that could’ve been Confederate victories? I think the Confederates could have captured Washington DC at bull run but my time we have a different confederate president so a few things changed |

Yes, but we never wanted it. It wasn't a true "civil" war....both sides wanting the flag....we didn't care. Gettysburg was only a tactical move to allow transport of supplies that wouldn't have made to Richmond. I ask why the capital was just across the street from DC. Montgomery was even better anyway.... |
