The Federation has requested another CAO, to set them on the right track.

They’d find that Dhebar was a journalist in New Delhi before the 2010 south Asian war, after that it appears that he was radicalised and quickly rose through the ranks of the community forces. He isn’t particularly popular, he’s more just a spokesman for the people, is how he puts it.

President Makhdoom of the Federation of the Four Republics(formerly Pakistan), has condemned the violent rhetoric of these protests and has emphasised that he aid his people are doing as much as they can to apologise to India.

When asked by Indian media what he thought of this statement, Aakash Dhebar said this:
“Good, I hope the Pakistanis can sit in their western funded fort in Islamabad and fear us, Bharat was took by surprise by their cowardly nuclear attack, when we strike I hope that they’re ready.”

The Federation of Southeast Asia has announced that it will guarantee the sovereignty of the Federation of the Four Republics; claiming that even with what the former nation of Pakistan has done towards India that the entire nation should not suffer for actions of the few.

The Indian government has not said anything, any statement that agrees with this would be political suicide in India, the political atmosphere is extremely anti-Pakistan at the moment.

Small protests outside of government buildings primarily in Indonesia have occurred within cities of the Federation, mostly consisting of Hindus; not agreeing with the government's stance on Pakistan, wanting for the government to side with India instead.

Indian government calls elections
Following mounting pressure, the ruling administration of Manmohan Singh, of the Indian National Congress, has called for a special extraordinary election in the winter of 2013, this will be done due the perceived failure of the government. PM Singh will remain as the caretaker PM until the election. Singh has been quoted as saying “I did everything I could for my country, I’m sorry if that wasn’t enough.”, Singh will likely be retiring completely after this.

The entire Indian political landscape has been shook up by the events of 2010, some of the main parties competing in the election are as follows(candidates from each party still have to selected):

Indian National Congress
-Social democracy, Social liberalism, secularism

Bharatiya Janata Party
-Social conservatism, Hinduvta, right wing populism

Communist party of India
-Communism

United India Party
-Secularism, liberalism, minority rights

Society of the Hindu brothers for a United India
-Hindu Ultranationalism

Supreme Akali Dal
-Punjabi Nationalism, conservatism

Indian National Congress - Nationalist
-Social Nationalism, secularism, anti-separatism, anti-Pakistan

Two Candidates have been presented, with Makhdoom allowed to simply pick himself, consult his cabinet or hold a popular inquiry regarding the matter.

Candidate #1 is former President Brian Mulroney. An accomplished statesman who led Canada from 1984 to 1993, he has shown an innate ability to navigate any crisis. He is also a fine negotiator and analyst. Mulroney would likely take a more hands-on approach to the CAO role, effectively becoming the Federation's Governor General. Many in Canada consider him the more competent candidate. Some have noted however that he is very emotionally detached regarding the impact of his policies, something the population has had difficulty with all throughout his mandate.

Candidate #2 is former Senator Jean Béliveau, another former hockey player. He lost his position due to the Senate's disbandment in 2005 but has remained somewhat active in politics. If Mulroney is more competent, Béliveau is more charismatic, being known for his passionate speeches that were, for many, the only thing worth watching in the former Senate. He is also known for his numerous charities and his deep family values, having conceded the 1996 Parti Patriote leadership race in order to be with his daughter and two grandchildren, Mylene and Magalie, whose father, a Quebec policeman, had committed suicide when the girls were five and three.

(SECRET)

Canada has reached out to the Indian National Congress, United India Party and, surprisingly, Supreme Akali Dal with the intention to support them in the upcoming election, not wanting to see all the work it has poured into Pakistan be burned down by the rages of the ill-informed.

[Secret]

The Federation of Southeast Asia has started to send funding and support to the Indian National Congress, United India Party, and Communist Party of India; receiving less support than the other two parties. The intention of the support being to uphold a regime in India that wishes to keep peace throughout the region, and keep the country united under one flag.
