O hidden Light,
who dwells within the shadow,
we stand in the hour of separation,
when the voice falls silent
and the heart beholds the void.

Sancta Maria Magdalena,
faithful in the darkness,
you who remained when others fled,
teach us to abide
where the light is veiled.

In this hour of stillness,
we remember the broken union,
the love that passes through sorrow,

even when it seems to rest within the tomb.

O Domine Iesu,
in the silence of your suffering
we behold the mystery of love:
that devotion does not perish,

And you, Rosa Sapientiae,
