I am pleased to say that I have been approved as an Aedile of the Idealist States. It is because of this appointment that I have now chosen to join our Regional Forum. You can now contact me through messages sent to "meta1panzerwels," DM sent to "solon73320," TGs sent to Today, I learned that the Latin word "aediles" (the plural form of "aedile") is pronounced quite similarly to "idealist." Well, the "a" and "t" pronounced in "idealist" aren't in "aediles," the "s" is somewhere between "s" and "sh," and there are differences in syllables and syllabic stress. |
Hello, Idealist States, this message is concerning the recent map i've made. If you would like to suggest any changes including; rivers, lakes, addition of land or water, borders, or capital placement, reply to this post. I will be trying to figure out how to make it coloured. *edit; coloured it |
What was your process in its creation? I also recommend not using the map feature of NS, it's probably best to just stick an image in a pinned Dispatch and update it as it goes along. (I would like to be listed as "República del Río Meta" with the capital being "Juramento") |
Okay, I will update the names, and the map is a png turned gif, made with a multitude of sites. Also, I do not log on very much, and I am not familliar with the ui, so I just find the map feature easier, but will try to learn how to use Dispaches later. |
Wow. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone who prefers the map feature until now. For Dispatches, you'll need an image-hosting site. The most common one used for maps is Imgur (although I use "postimages.org"), where images are uploaded. Over on your Dispatch page, you can press "Write Dispatch." You must select a category and subcategory to post and it is best to do then first in case you accidentally lose the content. Add a title. Then in the text space, you put exactly what I have here: [img]https://i.postimg.cc/mgJHFqB4/Map-Chart-Map-2.png[/img] Notice that link MUST end with ".gif" or ".png" et cetera. |

Hey! That's supposed to say Summer and Winter Solstice, which is my mistake; anyway, the Summer Solstice this year was 20th of June and next year is 21st of June, while the Winter Solstice this year is 21st of December and next year is 21st of December. Hope this information helps! |
