The Republic of Arcaroth is a colossal, cultured nation, renowned for its keen interest in outer space and frequent executions. The democratic population of 4.062 billion Arcarothians enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Industry, and Welfare. The average income tax rate is 24.1%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The all-consuming Arcarothian economy, worth 303 trillion KV6s a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Tourism industry, with significant contributions from Information Technology, Book Publishing, and Gambling. Average income is 74,673 KV6s, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.4 times as much as the poorest.

Motorists must pay to enter inner-cities during peak hours, much of Arcaroth's computer network is controlled by a rampant artificial intelligence, there's a shortage of swinging hot spots as land development grinds to a halt, and the nation has welcomed its expats back with open arms. Crime, especially youth-related, is almost non-existent. Arcaroth's national animal is the Green Backed Dragon, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Arcaroth is ranked 53,681^st in the world and 2,388^th in Osiris for Smartest Citizens, with 42.4 quips per hour.
