australian ants are really underrated. i always here people talking about how interesting australia's arachnids and snakes are, but never their ants.

meat ants are probably my favorite, though sugar ants and bulldog ants hold a special place in my heart as well.

The thought of presenting a quiet, austere acknowledgement of death in regards to whatever little once thrived stood with me briefly, only for it to vanish following the realization of the pointlessness of such. Funerals are held for the living, and those appear to be in short supply at the moment.
