The Republic of Zeeeeetopia is a very large, socially progressive nation, notable for its burgeoning dolphin population. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic population of 272 million Zeeeeetopians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Healthcare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 25.3%.

The Zeeeeetopian economy, worth 11.4 trillion lire a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Gambling industry, with significant contributions from Cheese Exports, Soda Sales, and Woodchip Exports. Average income is 42,038 lire, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 3.7 times as much as the poorest.

The comic book series 'Leader and the Villainous Corporate Cronies' is a best-seller, a well-funded social safety net protects the unfortunate, airship use has soared while property values beneath their routes have plummeted, and citizens often ask "what has information technology ever done for us?". Crime is well under control, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Zeeeeetopia's national animal is the dolphin, which frolics freely in the nation's sparkling oceans.
