But it was real, right?
Also can't they literally just like, check or is it not like in the US where most counterfeit money is easily told from real money. Love Brazil regardless.

Pigeons must be very wealthy. They have no problem putting deposits on expensive cars.

Why is money sometimes called “dough”? Because we all knead it!

Lending money to American football players is a bad idea. Sometimes they give you a half back, but sometimes, they only give you a quarterback.

The safest place for a penguin to keep their money is a snow bank.

I explained why, ease of extraction, ease of working, didn’t corrode and was pretty. And yes we would know its usefulness today.

I really hope that neither of you are thinking of a career in engineering.

QUESTION OF THE NOW: If you were transported 400 years into the past (1622 CE) with no clothes or anything else, how would you prove that you were from the future?

The strategy would depend upon the location. If appearing somewhere in Christendom, then I would claim that I had been bewitched and cast back from the future by Satanic magic. In Islamic lands claim it was a jinni. That stratagem might also work in Hindu or Buddhist communities. Sadly, in more primitive regions, expect to be killed before you can convince anyone of your future origin.

*Wym pennies have no redeemable value beyond the ability to mock Wym.

Take the Coins to the change conversion machines in grocery stores and markets to convert them into larger denomination currency, then take a fast flight to the gold souks in Dubai and Muscat. Buy gold until all cash has been spent. Mission accomplished!

It's National Lucky Penny Day - if you see a penny on the ground today, make sure to pick it up; it might just be your lucky day!! As it's also Punday Monday, tell us your favourite cash or money related puns; the winner receives a lucky Wym Penny*.

This is going to be tricky for me because my country no longer has a penny so all I can come up with is non-cents.

Wymondham wrote:The Grand Finale of the Purgelympics has commenced; with Sensorland and Blue bubble facing off against the incumbent Purgelympics champion and Delegate Giovannilan. Let us know who you think will emerge victorious?

Because Sensor decided to threaten me with a trebuchet ride I'm obligated to put my money on Blue but at the same time Sensor did give Sensor a trebuchet ride so I'm conflicted...

Train cars and blast furnace to smelt it all down, with today's market id probably make a profit from the copper even after all expenses including bribes for the constabulary.

I started investing in soup stock - I really want to be a bouillonaire.

I know a family of artists that makes tons of money. Very sketchy people.
