I named it after my favorite flower the lotus, which is Nelumbo nucifera. My region is kind of Asian themed so I thought that would be a beautiful name for it. My region is supposed to be physically large almost like a continent, and my nation and its puppets are squished together in a peninsula. We have many chosen embassies such as yours. I am not really like other Embassy collectors that will choose just about any region to construct embassies with, I choose ones that look active, pretty or friendly. It's kind of fickle to construct embassies with just about anything, a region has to have a theme or a point. I have not fixed my map yet. |
Ah! It is funny that my own region and yours are named after the Lotus flower. I chose the name Pink Lotus as it holds special significance in Buddhism, in particular Chinese Buddhism. My region is also Asian-themed, more specifically Chinese, but of course we welcome members from all walks of life. If there is anything we can do to support Nelumbo, let us know. We hope this the beginning of a long and fruitful friendship. |
