Gnomeland (Gnomish: Gnomge), officially the Gnomish Directory (Gnomish: Gnomsk Drektat), is a country located in East Bormannia. A land of ancient woods and deep caverns, the Directory is governed by a council of its brightest and most competent scientists. Its inhabitants, the Gnomish people, are widely known for their high intelligence, appreciation of the sciences (especially those relating to the study of nuclear weapons), and tendency to wear pointy red hats.
