Takegashii

Dhaki wa Hakim wrote:
The Sultan listened attentively as Ichira spoke, allowing a warm smile to emerge at the mention of the National Assembly.

"A government that carefully considers its decisions is not an inefficient one," the Sultan replied with a light chuckle. "Enduring partnerships are strengthened when they are supported not only by their leaders, but by the representatives of their people. We fully respect the constitutional process of the Empire of Takegashii and shall await the Assembly's judgement with patience."

Turning his attention toward the university deans, the Sultan inclined his head respectfully.

"Your proposal regarding higher education is one that we welcome wholeheartedly. Knowledge has always been among humanity's greatest investments, and the exchange of students, professors, and researchers strengthens understanding between nations in ways that commerce alone cannot."

Several advisers quietly exchanged notes before one stepped forward to present a supplementary document.

"Should your Assembly approve the treaty," the Sultan continued, "Dhaki wa Hakim would gladly facilitate the establishment of campuses or academic partnerships between your universities and our own institutions, subject to our national educational standards and mutual agreement. We would also encourage joint research initiatives, faculty exchanges, and collaborative programmes in science, engineering, medicine, agriculture, economics, and the humanities."

The Sultan paused briefly before addressing the scholarship proposal.

"We are equally grateful for your generous offer to provide scholarships for our students. Such an opportunity would allow talented young Muwatinun min balad ra'i' to study in the Empire of Takegashii, return home with valuable knowledge, contribute to the continued prosperity of both our nations."

He folded his hands upon the polished table.

"In return, Dhaki wa Hakim would be pleased to establish reciprocal scholarships for Takegashiian students wishing to study within our universities and cultural institutions. We believe that genuine friendship is built not merely by governments, but by the generations that will one day succeed us."

The Sultan looked across the chamber toward Ichira.

"If these educational provisions meet with your approval, we shall gladly incorporate them as an additional article of our treaty. We believe they will further strengthen the bonds between our peoples, ensuring that this agreement is remembered not only as a diplomatic accord, but as the beginning of a lasting partnership founded upon trust, learning, and mutual prosperity."

Ichira listened intently and smiled. It was nice, for once, to have negotiations go smoothly. "Of course. I'm more than happy to indicate our provisional agreement on behalf of the Council of Ganwa, with full implementation to come upon the treaty's ratification. I do hope this is the start of a long and wonderful relationship." Extending a hand to his aide next to him, Ichira was given a small, fine-tipped pen, which he used to quickly sign the treaty and its supplement. As he finished the last stroke of the pen, the Takegashiian delegation gently applauded. Standing from his seat, he extended a hand to the Sultan as Takegashiian photographers prepared their cameras. "Here's to a new alliance, and a shared future."

The Sultan smiled, "Thank you for signing this treaty, may Allah bless us." The Vice-Sultan stepped into the room and shouted, "Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim, naqim al-sadaqa baynana kahkam, wa bayn al-buldayn!" Beautiful Quran-reading started blasting out of the Sultan's speakers, every letter spoken with absolute beauty; the Sultan's family came out from the door and celebrated this new ally. The Sultan gently smiled and said, "This was all for you Ichira and call me Sultan Malik al-Bahr."

Ichira smiled in return and shook the Sultan's hand. "It would be my pleasure."

After a night of enjoying the diplomatic festivities and exploring what Dhaki wa Hakim's capital had to offer, Ichira retired to his lodgings and forced himself to remain updated on the affairs going on in Takegashiija. In a sharp contrast to the fun he had had throughout the day, he donned nothing but a grim smile throughout the night. The Council and the National Assembly had hung ratification on the treaty on him giving up some of his own legislative agenda.

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, forgetting for a moment that it was filled with mousse; he recoiled and cursed before wiping his hand on his suit pants. He couldn't let everything that they'd done on the trip amount to nothing, but just how far would he give up his own goals?

He composed a quick message to the other SPT members of the Council back home and closed his laptop, laying down on his bed. All of that could wait. Tomorrow, he resolved himself to explore the capital and hopefully meet some of the locals. It would help to make a good impression abroad, and he was sure that the camera crews would absolutely eat up some footage of him going to local restaurants and meeting new people. The day after, on the long way back to Takegashiija, he would get all of his domestic affairs in order. He thought for a moment. As soon as he got back, he'd enact some business permitting reforms. That would be easy enough.

That night, he dreamed of Dhaki wa Hakim's skies, colored an orange-blue by the setting sun.

Why?

The The Second Republic of Jude s

I just remembered this exists

The Holy Black Commonwealth of Almartan

Almartan Makes it Three

It was Friday evening, the sun is on course to descent below the horizon as it dimly illuminates the room. President Marc Eva Patricia sat on his office, tired, beside him are 2 mugs of coffees and a pile of letters brought in from the mailroom still unaddressed.

He ought to have his desk clean by the night and opens one envelope, it tore with a sharper crackle than usual.
It was a letter dispatched none other from Jude s, the very same nation he had previously addressed and gave recognition. His eyes slightly widens, to say that he was surprised was an understatement. He expected the letter to be no more than a form of gratitude, but what it addresses was far off from what he had anticipated.
"Letter of Invitation - The Alliance of Crainnford"
He took a few minutes, thinking about it for himself whether he should entrust to cooperate with a newly established government.
Then he recalled an event long passed, Almartan and other nations was collectively attacked by Zekberg and it's puppets. The lack of a longstanding and prepared defensive alliance caused more casualties than what was necessary and could've been prevented.

He called for his secretary, Lia to forward the letter into Vice President Gallantino's office.
She leaves the room, the door's squeak ensures him that it is closed. He reaches his phone and immediately calls for the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs, Marco Ilbiza to consult diplomatic advices.
Marco's tone was slightly higher than usual, he concluded it is still too early to determine and suggested for a meeting scheduled overmorrow.

click, click, click, click. A clock, overhang from sets of banners indicates that it is quarter past nine. Secretariat of the Commonwealth, Lucas was the last person to enter the room. Sat between the roundtables are President Marc Eva Patricia, Vice President Gallantino Oscar Hernandez, Secretariat of Foreign Affairs Marco Ilbiza, and Secretariat of the Armed Forces Fernando Palazuelos who have been waiting for a few minutes.
"You may leave the room now" calls the President to the 6 guards on standby inside the room.
"May we begin?" Says Marco Ilbiza, his hands grips firmly on an envelope of documents and dossiers.
It took them 6 and a half hours to discuss it thoroughly, the President is to issue a bill onto the congress to be discussed and ratified on the behalf of the entire Commonwealth.

3 months, after multiple rigorous hearings it took the chambers 3 months to determine the decision, with 72% voting in favor.
The bill is passed, then reviewed and ratified before it's forwarded to the president's office.
The procedure is continued, Marc signs it, cementing the authority. Marco Ilbiza's office then prepares the instrument of accession, before it is then sent into the Alliance's depository in Pavrna.
A week passes, the depository returns a letter denoting the acceptance, Almartan's presence in the alliance will be effective once Almartan have assigned it's representative and upon signing the official decree publicly.
Following intensive coordination with the Alliance, Almartan successfully accessioned the treaty. The only step remaining is to sign the decree publicly.

Hundreds of press are waiting on the Presidential Palace Brief Room, Marc Eva Patricia alongside Gallantino, Lucas, Marco, and a delegate of the Alliance of Crainnford. Every single Secretariat delivers their statement.
It is now Marc's turn, he grasps the lectern, his body leans just slightly forward. Elaborating Almartan's stance within the decision. The delegate hands over the decree of accession, followed by the click of a pen and screeches of a ballpoint tip gliding across the paper.
Almartan officially becomes a party to the treaty of the Alliance of Crainnford.
Lights flashes everywhere, illuminating the room. Marco must've been regretful that didn't take off his glasses beforehand.
A short stand in ceremony is conducted. The Almartanian anthem is performed by the Palace's band as Marc exchanges flag with the Delegate.

JUDE S CONGRESS RATIFIES ALLIANCE WITHAlmartan CELEBRATIONS FOLLOW
Government to pursue closer ties as President seeks summit with Almartan counterpart
The Jude S Congress convened in emergency session today following confirmation that Almartan's legislature had passed the Alliance offer. Lawmakers moved swiftly to ratify the treaty, formally bringing the alliance into force. The measure passed with broad, cross-party support, and signed copies were dispatched to the Almartan government shortly after the vote.
News of the ratification prompted widespread celebration across the nation. Crowds gathered in major city squares, many carrying the flags of both countries, while public spaces and cafes reported heavy turnout as citizens discussed the agreement. Public approval of Almartan, already well above that of most other nations, is reported to have risen further. Observers noted that many citizens view the alliance as a partnership chosen freely rather than one forced by circumstance.
In a statement following the vote, the President of Jude S expressed a wish to meet personally with the President of Almartan. The proposed summit is expected to address shared priorities, including defense and diplomatic coordination, with the aim of aligning the two nations' strategic direction more closely. The President described the meeting as an opportunity to move from a signed agreement to a durable partnership grounded in trust and open communication.
No date or location for the meeting has been announced. Officials from both governments are expected to begin preliminary discussions in the coming days.
