The Horda Nomada of Skytheos is a colossal, orderly nation, notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape, compulsory military service, and spontaneously combusting cars. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, devout population of 4.696 billion Scytheoi are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

The tiny, pro-business government is primarily concerned with Spirituality, although Defense and Law & Order are also considered important, while Social Policy and Industry aren't funded at all. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6.2%.

The strong Skytheoi economy, worth 257 trillion Denarii a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Retail industry, with major contributions from Book Publishing, Arms Manufacturing, and Uranium Mining. Average income is 54,938 Denarii, but there is a large disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 282,722 per year while the poor average 5,830, a ratio of 48.5 to 1.

Crime is a problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Skytheos's national animal is the Equus, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.

Skytheos is ranked 52,629^th in the world and 3^rd in Regio for Highest Unexpected Death Rate, scoring 87.13 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
