The Imperial Federation of Navea is a titanic, cultured nation, ruled by Empress Camila of Valentino with an even hand, and remarkable for its strictly enforced bedtime, parental licensing program, and smutty television. The hard-nosed, humorless, devout population of 11.095 billion Naveans have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Industry. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Navea City. The average income tax rate is 96.5%.

The frighteningly efficient Navean economy, worth a remarkable 3,112 trillion Kalos a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Retail, and Tourism. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an amazing 280,555 Kalos, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Milk often tastes of pea, on-duty Air Navea flight attendants are usually seen napping in first class, children trade in their pickaxes for hammers and sickles, and private surgeons have been told to cut it out. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Navea's national animal is the Navean Snow Hare, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Cult of Divine Being.

Navea is ranked 330,235^th in the world and 13^th in Astoria for Highest Unexpected Death Rate, scoring 17.67 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
