The State of Keeper is a gargantuan, efficient nation, ruled by Liard with a fair hand, and remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. The hard-working, democratic population of 30.648 billion Keeperians hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The tiny, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Education, Welfare, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of District City. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 9.0%.

The very strong Keeperian economy, worth a remarkable 1,539 trillion betales a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Uranium Mining industry, with major contributions from Pizza Delivery, Information Technology, and Basket Weaving. Average income is 50,243 betales, with the richest citizens earning 6.8 times as much as the poorest.

The country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry, all tariffs have been abolished, Keeper has designated District City as its capital city, and Liard has just been declared ruler of Keeper in an international press conference. Crime is moderate, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Keeper's national animal is the deer, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Keeper is ranked 230,287^th in the world and 1^st in Keep Crimson Free for Safest, scoring 43.54 on the Bubble-Rapp Safety Rating.
