Democrat Party embroiled in sex scandal...again

HANYANG — The Democrat Party found itself embroiled in another sex scandal after it decided to expel one of its representatives for illegal sexual behavior against a female aide.

The representative was also said to have fabricated the aide's resignation to the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the Chosun SSR. To that end, the SPA has announced it would open an investigation into the representative, and will take disciplinary action to rectify this behavior.

The representative in question is known to have held key posts: he was a chief policymaker for the party, a member of the SPA, and a member of the party's leadership organ. However, he is not the only high ranking party member to have found himself in hot water in recent years. Three former mayors and governors were implicated in sex crimes, two of which were imprisoned, while a former head of a Democrat Party regional committee groped a restaurant employee. And as a cherry on top, a Congressional Deputy had been recently castigated for making inappropriate sexual remarks during an online video conference.

There have also been serious issues with the party's internal handling processes of the incident. For one, the incident supposedly took place during the prior year when the Federal election process began, but was not disclosed until now. Some speculate and question whether such a move was intentional. History suggests that the party is no stranger to cover-ups - a former mayor who belonged to the party had an incident of sexual assault concealed for a few months.

Members of the public have called on the party to thoroughly investigate all allegations in a timely manner. It is especially ironic, given that the Democrats prides themselves as a champion of women’s rights. The facts suggest that they often ignore the interests of women just to preserve appearances.

The People's Investigatory Service and Republican Censors have both announced investigations into the Democrat Party following these allegations. The former has expressed interest in levying criminal charges for party members' sexual crimes, while the latter will investigate whether there has been any intra-organizational corruption where it comes to the concealing of information and delayed reporting.

The Democrats have defended against the move by labelling it as "state suppression". However, with public opinion against their side, their cries seem likely to fall on deaf ears.

'Seeing Red' a box office hit, scores highly with audiences

The movie, set during the 1960s communist riots, released to the public on the 22nd of April. Almost a month later the movie can boast massive success both financially and in its excellent audience score.

Director and writer, Park Dong-uk, was teary eyed as he told the Herald how much he appreciates the massive turnout from movie goers and their glowing words for his film across a number of online forums. "It means so much, both as a film maker and to see such appreciation for our history".

Several elements of the movie, including its acting and cinematography, were noted by critics and audiences alike as being a step above for its genre and many expressed their hope that it will set the standard moving forward.

Speaking of moving forward, Park has publicly announced that his next film will be set during Tamna period of Cheju's history, specifically during its administration as an autonomous region of Goryeo. The exact nature of the story has yet to be revealed but he is said to be working closely with historians to ensure it is as true to the period as possible.

The Road to Rebuilding

The Roman Senate's troops have become a far less common sight in the streets of Tunis. After a meeting with the Roman Imperatrix, an agreement has been reached to limit Italian presence in our land. They will maintain 2 bases, and the rest are being handed over to the Tunisian men and women who have enlisted in the new military to defend us. We are safe, and now the attention of the Tunisian Senate turns to rebuilding and improving. The military has begun repairing infrastructure, with power having been fully restored to Tunis's outskirts in the past few weeks. But what good is infrastructure without a healthy economy to utilize it? This is something the Senate hopes to solve with their latest announcement.

Given that Tunisia has a large amount of land that remains unused, with plenty of exposure to sunlight, a series of solar farms will be built to increase the amount of power available to citizens as well as give Tunisia something extremely valuable to sell: green energy. Ten-thousand kilowatts of green energy, in fact. Enough power for at least 9 million homes. These farms will be constructed over the next 2-4 years, with the first two farms being completed by the end of this year. The Tunisian government planned on financing the project with 2 billion dollars in initial investments, but their plans have caught the attention of Europe and even the Middle East.

A number of nations have invested in Tunisian solar power, listed below by the number of shares owned:

Nova Tunesia, 50% of shares (2 billion USD)
Turco-Bulgaria, 26% of shares (4.7 billion USD)
British Crown Commonwealth, 15% of shares (2.3 billion USD)
Islamican, 9% of shares (1 billion USD)

This also comes with news that the Crown Commonwealth will be providing financial aid to Roma, aid which Her Majesty plans on investing into the economy over anything else. As well, The umr has invested 100 million dollars into Tunisian business producing our largest exports: Insulated wire, pure olive oil, and non-knit women's and men's suits. These investments from all nations will do a great deal to create new jobs and jump start the previously dead Tunisian economy.

Saving a Galaxy Far, Far Away

In less serious news, the movie sets of Star Wars Episodes I and IV are still in danger of being lost to the desert- but not for long. Roman Star Wars fans have banded together to start a fundraising project in order to save the sets and turn them into a sort of museum for the popular franchise. The fundraiser has gained global attention, and donations have begun pouring in. The movement has named itself the "Tatooine Preservation Society" and has received support from globe-spanning fan groups like the "501st Legion", "Mandalorian Mercs", and others. Large influencers in the community have also donated and raised awareness for the Society. The group has announced that once their fundraising goal has been met, they can begin to work on saving the iconic movie sets.

"We've already been talking with contractors, and getting cost estimates. Our current fundraising goal should be enough to keep the sets safe, and the hope is that we can turn them into a museum of all things Star Wars in the future."

Op-Ed: Preventing Capricious Policy
By Gen. Jean-Luc Gardet

The Economic Affairs Council Executive Committee published a declaration several days ago, in which it directly circumvents FAC objections and forces the Council of Councils to accept a practically unrepealable fait accompli, not taking into consideration the CoC's previous dismissal of a similar resolution.

There is no cause more ripe for intervention than this irresponsible action. As president of the Directorate of State Security, I would send officers to halt the procedure of the declaration at once, thereby allowing the CoC to have its say before the declaration's essentialy irreversible implementation.

A case could be built to justify such an operation in various ways. One may be the fact that, in its declaration, the EAC ignores common law on asylum procedures, thereby creating the threat of international terrorists entering Faarakh. The DSS could then declare a local State of Emergency and send its forces into Seeb.

Another way would be through an impromptu DSS forces exercise in the Seeb Special Economic Zone, during which certain parts of the Hurzah Intl. Airport would have to be closed off, thereby not allowing any Hongkongers from the international area of the airport onto Faarakhi soil.

As candidate for the presidency of the DSS, I have always stood for national security before all else -- I, as opposed to some others, especially Mr Bin-Burid, among whose policies the word security does not appear as often as, say, "equity" and "sustainability", have interpreted the constitutional basis of the DSS, most sensibly, to give it one aim: the provision of state security before anything else.

May 17 - International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia

The Argentine Republic wishes all persons - nationals and foreign - that observe the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, whether by celebrations, organized activism, or acts of remembrance, to have a day blessed by love and happiness.

Although the world as a whole still has great lengths to cover in eradicating all forms of discrimination based on gender expression and sexual orientation, past and present initiatives and actions - radical or peaceful - taken by civil organizations, NGOs, and Governments around the world, continue to inspire all societies which hold dear the values of freedom and equality.

Argentina will continue to collaborate on the international stage, actively promoting and defending the rights of LGBTQ+ people to live their lives with justice and peace, in our continent and abroad.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs - -Central Europe-

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is eager to accept Augustín Igor's appointment as the Central European ambassador to the FEUSSR. In exchange, it wishes to nominate He Lishan to serve as the FEUSSR's ambassador for Central Europe.

To promote and construct more comprehensive schemes of cooperation that will impact trade, culture, society, technology, military affairs, and infrastructure, the Ministry wishes to propose the creation of the Far Eastern-Central European Free Trade Agreement, a free trade agreement that will bolster our export and import markets, providing for more competitive industries, and allowing our citizens to enjoy the fruits of international trade. Under this trade agreement, all tariffs between the two nation's traded goods will be removed.

The FEUSSR also wishes to invite Central Europe to participate in its EurasiaNet initiative alongside Turco-Bulgaria. The scheme, if approved by Turco-Bulgaria, would allow Central Europe to directly purchase certain shares listed on both the FEUSSR's and Turco-Bulgaria's stock exchanges through local brokers, and vice versa.

We await your cherished reply.

Flanstria wrote:Breaking News: Explosion and blaze in Zagreb

The city of Zagreb was ravaged by a mysterious explosion earlier this morning. In a video which has rapidly circulated around social media, a massive fireball could be seen from a good distance away. Seconds later a shockwave disrupted the video with sounds of shattering glass in the background.

The explosion laid waste to much of the city's industrial precinct with equally severe damage to nearby housing blocks. A blaze has broken out at the site of the explosion, and spread rapidly through the damaged industial estate, causing another series of explosions due to gas and petroleum stored in the warehouses. A full evacuation order has been issued for the city, due to fears of further gas explosions and the spread of the fire. Reports this morning indicated that the blaze had consumed much of the western city, with firefighters overwhelmed by the extent of the blaze.

A code red emergency has been implemented and military reservist personnel have been called in to assist with the fire control and rescue operations. Over 6,200 medical, scientific and zoologist personnel have been recalled from nearby regions to treat wounded, clear remaining houses and coordinate an evacuation of wildlife from the city. Air Flanstria, the country's flag airline, has sent five Boeing 787s and 737-MAX jetliners to help evacuate civilians from the city.

At least 190 have been killed, following the discovery of the first bodies at the scene. The death toll is estimated to be in the thousands.
While Zagreb has sufficient fire-control systems, the blaze was largely centred around the lower-middle class section of the city. In recent years fire regulations have become more lax, and so the blaze spread rapidly through the lower-middle class section. The city's old town, famous for its wooden buildings, is also at severe risk of destruction.

Prime Minister Berger will make a statement on the situation this afternoon, followed shortly by His Majesty Karl von Povan.

The Dharabian President sends his deepest condolences to the civilians affected in Zagreb. "It is always a tragedy when innocent people are harmed. We wish the best for the civilians in Zagreb".

As a sign of respect monuments and towers- including the Burj Khalifa- will be lit up in the colors of the Flanstrian flag. Prime Minister Komani also stated that the Dharabian government is willing to send a substantial aid package in order to fight the blaze in Zagreb, and also to help evacuate and reconstruct the city.

"We advise any and all Dharabian citizens residing in Zagreb to evacuate as soon as possible," Komani said. "Smoke inhalation is usually the number-one cause of fire-related deaths".

Per direction of President Vanderbilt, the State Department wishes to invite the leadership of both your nations to discuss possible treaties between the three of our nations and other related matters such as basing rights, military drills and so forth. Such a treaty could be concluded within the White House itself and officially signed in the East Room, which is large and suitable enough for a treaty signing. The State Department will handle any other issues that arise during the meeting at the White House.

Dear Sir,

As you are aware our respective civil servants have been working behind the scenes to prepare a draft of a treaty that will further re-enforce the friendship between our nations and our joint ability to defend security and trade where required across the globe.

It has always been the view of successive Prime Ministers' in the modern age that the relationship between our two nations is a special one, and we look forward to agreeing a way of ensuring this continues and is strengthened.

As agreed by civil servants, The Prime Minister is looking forward to meeting President Vanderbilt in 1 months time.

Over the next month (4 RL days) an additional 35,000 units will be deployed to The second german republic to act as re-enforcements to the existing force. Forces will arrive by ship or plane, and arrive into the area with subsequent support equipment for defensive and offensive operations.

S-400 systems are being deployed as well to provide enhanced aerial defense support in the operation as it moves forward.

To EYP surprise, no german soldiers have been observed in the german controlled portion of Poland. TB2 and on the ground intelligence have confirmed this reality.

It is our suggestion that BCT-D and BCT-E begin a movement into Poland, with a goal of reaching Wrocław within the next several days. Supply sorties will be operating to provide material assistance.

M110 artillery and two Archer artillery systems, along with Altay tank support and APC’s will be utilized in this operation.

Some resistance may be seen, but perhaps only by German loyal law enforcement. No military hardware is expected to be encountered.

Orders have been sent to the respected BCT’s East of Dresden with support BCTs coming up from Dresden to fill the line.

As re-enforcements from home arrive, they can be deployed to Poland as well to assist in the expanded operation of Crossbow.

Elements of BCT-D and BCT-E reached Wrocław this afternoon with surprising ease. EYP intelligence was correct that the Fascist German military was not in German Controlled Poland.

Brief fights were encountered as fascist loyal German police were engaging various units, but this has been dispatched with relative ease as most rifles have gone to the front.

24 Police Officers with fascist loyalty have been killed by UMR soldiers. 4 UMR soldiers have been injured, with 1 being killed by a hand gun when making attempts to detain.

UMR elements with additional support of BCT-F and BCT-G will begin moving north to Swiebodzin, with intentions to secure the E30 running west to Berlin, and placing artillery within striking distance of Berlin, and expected to be fully arrived in the next two days, and deployed. Sorties will be providing supply drops of food and ammunition.

Operation Phantom

This morning UMR psychological warfare units began dropping leaflets in villages south of Berlin. The message was given in two ways to all Germans, civilians or military.

Written in German, the words “civilians evacuate, Nazi Soldiers surrender or die.”

TB2 drones observed a column of German civilian vehicles moving south to the UMR contact line from Cottbus. German Fascist military vehicles north of the town, with artillery dug in, were subjected to an intense artillery barrage of their own. Numerous vehicles were seen destroyed and artillery abandoned or destroyed.A TB2 drone was shot down in this portion of the operation.

Orders have been given to UMR BCT commanders that at all cost, Berlin must be captured by Allied forces in no more then 14 weeks. A swift, precise operation will be conducted, with at times violent days and hours. This is done in the hopes of the securing of Berlin will induce the German population at large who still may have sentiment will be discouraged and that Meyer is to be removed by any means necessary.
