Players from across the country test their skills for the chance to compete in the Country's National team. 11 people are chosen, representing the best Serikai has to offer. The group is made up of people from all walks of life. The team trains for several days (OOC: or however long it is IC between the announcement and the competition) at the stadium in the nation's capital. The team trains for 10 hours every day to get in to and maintain peek physical performance. Players are also tested daily for any signs of illegal drug use that may get the nation disqualified. The team expects to be ready in time for the competition. Due to Football being the National sport, dozens of eager players try out for the nation's team, but only 11 are chosen. These 11 will undergo rigorous training ahead of the competition. The national team on the road to the World Cup in Izstanna is assembled The Efkadian national team had been inactive for several decades, and the Efkadian National Football Association, in the absence of matches, decided to disband it at the end of the last century. However, with the confirmed Efkadian participation in the next and first DIyar World Cup, held in the Izstanna, the association was forced to re-found the team and choose a technical director who will be in charge of putting together the team that will represent the country. The association has chosen as technical director Isidoros Sarantoulis, who resigned from his position as technical director of Mesara Tyrnamaida, or simply known as Mesara, which is the most important team of the country in this sport. Soon, the new technical director will announce his team and the 17 players (11 holders and 6 substitutes) called to the national team (unlike other countries, Efkades will not hold contests or other events to choose the players, but they will be called by the technical director himself, all the selected players have the Efkadian nationality and have an active career). |
Izstanna prepares for the chance at national glory! After being selected as the host for the 1st National Football Tournament, cries of excitement are heard all throughout the joyous island nation, with the best of their footballers hand-selected by chosen manager Garry Northdoor, who had this to say. "I've been given the honour to handcraft the first national team so naturally I didn't want to let us down. Fans hope that this pair can work out this difference and bring some amazing electricity to the pitch together. After this selection was announced, the team was immediately brought together for a meeting, before a public signing of shirts took place as each chosen member was supplied with the Izstanna national kit, a bright orange matched with a perfect white to hopefully burn out the eyes of any that are watching before they get the chance to play. After this signing, the chosen Right Midfielder Josh Bowler gave the media a few moments of his time to tell everyone how he prepared for this moment and how he will continue to remain ready to win games for his nation. Forming Die Blauen / Les Bleus There would be 3 notable players who received much of the media’s attention when chosen to be a part of the Europanischer FB. The two players Raymond Houdin and Lucas Boudier, both coming from the same sports team, are described to be highly proficient forwards that work extremely well together, setting up a fantastic series of attacks and goals over the course of their careers together. While in other countries people cheer for their teams and broadcast everything there is about it the USR like always in the past and now has paid no attention to the formation of their team. In fact it is not even broadcasted on Starsian television due to a lack of viewers and interest that came out of a poll, that showed only 4% of the people actively watched the Starsian football team despite it being the most popular sport.
