The Republic of Timmo is a colossal, genial nation, notable for its national health service, suspicion of poets, and stringent health and safety legislation. The compassionate population of 2.685 billion Timmoans are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The enormous, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Administration, Education, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 67.3%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The strong Timmoan economy, worth 157 trillion pounds a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Book Publishing, and Furniture Restoration. Average income is 58,681 pounds, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Every citizen is allowed exactly fifteen minutes of fame, the mouth-frothing Timmoan can be confused for a rabid wolf, it turns out that you actually can put a price on intangible cultural heritage, and it is illegal for police officers to carry out searches due to strict privacy laws. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Timmo's national animal is the wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Timmo is ranked 244,921^st in the world and 13,520^th in Lazarus for Largest Black Market, with 207 billion Standard Monetary Units.
