The very strong Madison Fraudian economy, worth a remarkable 1,274 trillion betales a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is quite specialized and led by the Gambling industry, with major contributions from Trout Farming, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Automobile Manufacturing. Average income is 41,381 betales, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 117,804 per year while the poor average 11,597, a ratio of 10.2 to 1.

Euthanasia is legal, archaeological discoveries are often followed by mysterious hamster abductions, there's a shortage of swinging hot spots as land development grinds to a halt, and graffiti artists spend lengthy periods of time in jail. Crime is a problem. Madison Fraud's national animal is the deer.
