The Federal Parliament has begun debating legislation aimed at introducing a Commonmwealth-Wide Social Security Net, titled the "Commonwealth Social Securities & Safety Provisions Bill 2138". Proponents for the bill have argued that all planets across the Commonwealth have implemented their own social security nets, and that they ought to unify the institution. However critics point out that the current tensions and military build up and expenditure on bringing in Serdian refugees means the government will have to start running a budget deficit.
Complicating matters is a possible ethnic split among the parliament, with MP's of Englguo and Rusrijiki heritage having a tendency to vote in favour of the bill, while those of Yagonisian heritage tending to be in opposition, whilst the Utrechtas MP's are the swing vote.

The Commonwealth Social Securities & Safety Provisions Bill 2138 has officially been enshrined into law following a close vote, Rusrijiki & Englguo descendent councillors were seen breaking out into celebration and applause following the vote, with a good majority of the other ethnic senators quite downtrodden. From 2138 onward unless repealed, the Commonwealth now has a uniform social benefits / safety net scheme, applying to all entities, not just federally represented planets.

SCOI (Serdian Central Office Of Intellegence) and SAFS (Special Armed Forces Serdia) and it's ECOAS task force quietly conclude the Intellegence gathering 'Operation Entente' while simultaneously preparing to launch 'Operation Rebirth' while no one is paying attention.
In shocking news, a popular night club venue on Centori in the Laksjim capital district has been struck by a hovercar IED, two hundred and fifty people are confirmed dead with many injured by a nearby building collapse and fragmentation caused by the bomb, it is currently unknown who is responsible and the National Security Force when they arrived 15 minutes ago began taking control of the scene, local and NSF police officers will be reviewing security tapes in addition to securing the location for paramedics. Nearby hospitals are currently running at full capacity.
All levels of government including those of other federal planets have condemned this blatant act of terrorism, with mass vigils for the deceased being organised across the Commonwealth. The Federal government however has made it a point to not blame any group or persons until all the facts of the situation has been found, however they have raised the terrorism threat level from green to red as the investigation begins.

It is no secret that Vyridion is highly unstable. War is the only thing that keeps them united, a common enemy for them to share. The Houses desire great power, and long to be free from the High Councils leash, but, none have ever set the act in motion. The current lord of House Raeltavian, Lord Paramount Tysus Raeltavian, has made it quite clear of his desire to secede, and reform the Irithyllian Kingdom, while Lord Aerynys Valnaryen wishes to retake Arivatoria from Raeltavian clutches. Vyridion is in a precarious position.
An individual from the High Council itself would set this event in motion. Lord Jacaerys Aldrik, lord of a minor house, and current Minister of Information. Lord Aldrik is a prominent figure in the High Council, holding a great degree of power, due to his unchecked control of the MoI and its Special Tasks Group. It is his desire to see Vyridion crumble, it is his desire to destroy the Great Houses, and usher in a new age for Vyridion. Once he rules the High Council, and with the Houses extinct, he will rebuild Vyridion in his image.
Now, he orchestrates the next phase of his plan. The execution of Lord Aerynys Valnaryen, the summoning of Lord Tysus Raeltavian to answer for treason, the assassination of the Praetor of the 4 armies, and finally, the diminution of the High Council. With Aerynys executed under the charges of treason, not only will this cause Aeros to secede from the Union, but also Arivatoria. Once both provinces secede, war will automatically be declared.
Aldrik gives the word, and the MoI manipulates the High Council into summoning Lord Aerynys to Tyria, under the illusion that he's plotting a rebellion. Unbeknownst to Lord Aerynys, he assumes he's been summoned to Tyria to discuss the Raeltavian question. To say the least, he was confused to find himself cuffed, and dragged to the High Council chambers by the council guard, and even more so, when they started throwing accusations of treason at him. Aerynys, of course, tried to defend himself, but, was all for naught. With Aldriks manipulation, the MoI were able to present forged evidence of his treason. Aerynys defence now only made him look more guilty, as he begins to fumble up his words.
Lord Aerynys is sentenced to public death. He is brought to Traitors Square, directly outside of the High Council building. Thousands gather to witness his death, his execution is being broadcast to all of Vyridion, his family can only watch in horror. At last, the High Councils executioner, a Soveki in standard council guard armour, wielding a large execution axe, arrives. The speak for the High Council says his piece, about Lord Aerynys being a traitor to Vyridion, along with his House, and is then put to death. The executioner raises his axe above his shoulder, then swings it down towards Aerynys neck, resulting in a clean cut. His head roles down off the platform, down towards a cheering crowd of plebs.
Lady Rhaenerys, with her husband, Aerynys, dead, leadership of house Valnaryen falls to her, as their daughter, Vysehra, is still a few years too young to claim ladyship. Watching her husband die in such a way fills her with rage. Immediately, she declares to Aeros that they have seceded from the Vyridan Union, and are now their own sovereign state, with herself proclaimed as queen. She rallies her generals and admirals to Korinthias, to discuss their war strategy. Immediately, Valnaryen forces are placed along the Raeltavian border.
Aldrik, quite pleased with the results, moves onto his next phase. The High Council summons Lord Tysus to Tyria, to answer for vocally expressing treason. Naturally, Tysus refuses to travel to Tyria to meet his own end, and, after witnessing the execution of Lord Aerynys, and with the advice of his advisers, all of whom are plants of Aldrik, decides to also secede from the Vyridan Union, forming the Irithyllian Kingdom, and proclaiming himself as king.
With both Aeros and Arivatoria seceded and at war with Tyria, Aldrik can now commence the final stage required for his ascension, the assassination of the High Councilor that occupies the Praetor of the 4 armies position, and the diminution of the High Council. With him, and his second officers dead, Tyria and House Kovumee won't be able to properly coordinate their forces, leaving both in a weakened state. This is a necessary part. The council must be weakened before Aldrik can finally seize control. Upon giving the word, the MoI dispatches a team of STG Storm Knights, to assassinate the Praetor and his officers. Hours later, the Praetor and his top officers are found dead, within the war room. No shred of evidence on who was involved is left behind, and all security footage has been mysteriously erased. In their homes, a few dozen High Councilors are assassinated by the MoI, not only continuing to weaken the High Council, but to open up vacancies so that those positions may be replaced with Aldriks puppets.
Now, at last, with Vyridion turned into turmoil and war, Aldrik boards his flag ship, VNV Tenacious Intent, and retreats to hidden space, reserved for the MoI, to watch the carnage until his eventual return.
Both separatist and unionist muster their forces on their borders, and prepare for war.

X3 Director Florm announces that after several 'meetings' Tri-Net will be absorbing the systems owned by Neurocell and Orbifold. While their current leaders will retain the title of 'System Deputy' Tri-Net will be responsible for budgetary and defense concerns in these systems. In the the case of Neurocell, they will be absorbed as a brand of Mall, and duplicate space station malls will be built in orbit around every Tri-Net planet based on their design.
Defense fleets are sent out to Tri-Net's new systems.
End of Empire The past few months (or years idk how time converts or if it even does) have been filled with the most intense fighting, inward and outward, in the imperium’s history. It has no culminated into the battle of Valhalla Prime, a sector around Kalinin. The battle has been fierce with the combined forces of Marxist-Leninist, Anarchists, Leftcom, Trotskyists, Tauist, and Council communist in the People’s Workers alliance of The Combined syndicate battered the remaining holdouts of Imperial Control. From the ground it would be hellish. The sky constantly ablaze from wreckage and bombardments alike, above in the stars ships would be exploding along with fighters which would inevitably fall below. Eventually when that subsided and the forces refused to surrender, the PWA launched a surface assault. The assaults were devastating, ranging in some estimates to 1 million deaths. In the later parts of the campaign it devolved into trench warfare with each side fighting inch by inch. The Imperium holdouts used gasses and incendiaries against not only combatants but non-combatants, including civilians, as well. The final assaults on the capital city’s fortress occurred merely 37 sol hours ago and ended with PWA soldiers waving the ancient scarlet banner over the fortress. The leaders in the fort were found dead, it seems they had committed suicide in order to spare imprisonment or charges for war crimes. Chairmen Reed gave a speech commemorating those who have lost their lives and is working to establish a new confederation council.

The woman frowns upon seeing the fort commanders laying dead on the floor with their weapons still smoking. “That’s... a shame...” she turns to a soldier, “Get some men to bury these two...” the soldier salutes with their left hand and marches off.

The Social Democrats begin attempting to keep matters under control. The following day the Anarchists bring a motion to the floor demanding a return to the Imperium, in one statement denouncing the democracies of both the Federation and Arvug (Arvug) as farces, and calling the “Kalinsk Manifesto” as an imperialist agenda. The Fate of Anzio depends on this vote and may even result in violence.

The Arvugian consulate on Anzio issues a statement, warning the citizens of anzio that joining a state where the political factions of any primacy have a notable history of being mutually exclusive, especially in the wake of a civil war, will not end peacefully for anyone on the planet. The consulate expresses the official Arvugian opinion that staying within an independent Anzian state is for the best interests of its citizens but adds that it will be compelled to respect the democratic wishes of Anzians should the vote be conducted lawfully, when questioned about the role of the Commonwealth Peacekeeping Force attached to Federation forces, the consulate stated that their duties will continue as normal for the time being.
In related news, the statements by the Anzian left has ended up outraging many in Arvug, with several politicians condemning those who denounced the Kalinsk Manifesto as "freedom haters", it should be noted that the Kalinsk manifesto considers socialist states organized under democratic means to be genuinely democratic and subject to Arvugian support.

The Serdian Home Army (S.H.A.), the main resistance faction against the Aaronian invasion quickly responds and relays the situation currently on the frontlines, requesting material aid to help them in their fight.
In a bit of positive news: The Serdian Navy with the help of D.R.A and S.H.A. forces did recently win a major battle which ended in the liberation of several key sections of Neo-Austria so the situation has somewhat improved, but the fighting continues on.
In other news Today: The Serdian army begins production of the rather small but easy to manufacture LSD113A1 Robot Soldier to help bolster Serdian frontline numbers, meanwhile while the Navy places the Amsterdam and San Francisco classes of warship into production simultaneously to (as previously stated.) Bolster the Serdian military's frontline strength.
The Advanced Defence Research Agency and the Commonwealth Army of the Arvugian Armed Forces has announced its anti-mech warfare technologies program, with the intention to provide the means to Arvugian infantry and vehicles to effectively counter hostile Mechs, particularly bipedal ones, Press Officers however did not elaborate on the technologies being developed and simply replied that it will be revealed in due time.
Defence Journalists point out the lack of Mechs or Mech technology in the AAF and see this as a way for Arvug to bridge the gap between itself and Alien powers on the ground front.

A Cautious Federation in Preparation For the Worst
The news was shown all over the Federation. From the front pages of The Sirius Times and the CorSec Morning Post to the footage either smuggled in or shown directly from the Kalinin Observatory on the HoloNews screens on numerous worlds, billions watched as the syndicalists and anarcho-communists tore through the Imperium like an almost unstoppable flame. Nearly a year before, the takeover of the Imperium by such a radical and decentralized group seemed like a pipe dream; now however, it seemed as if many people's nightmares had been realized. Many of those in the southwestern sectors along with veterans of the Federation Military still had fresh memories of similar militants that had caused so much trouble and misery during the brushfire wars of several decades past, and dreaded a similar situation befalling the eastern frontiers due to potential spillover from the Imperium. While feelings about a potential war occurring, defensive or not, were fairly mixed as a whole across the population of the Federation, most citizens shared the same fears about a potential takeover by similar sleeper cells or revolts that could potentially occur as a result of the latest battle that had taken place within Imperial Space. What made the mood worse was the incoming referendum on Anzio, called by the Anarchists as a way to forcibly reunite with the newly syndicalist Imperium, along with the potential for violence or outright revolt. The worlds nearby Anzio started to feel uneasy...
The government response was drastic, but quick. The Federation Foreign Minister began to messages out to the embassies of Arvug, Great serdia, Khaos Invaders, and Venurian space along with the liaison to Emden-orion regarding the situation. An emergency meeting of the Federation Cabinet and Diet had been called in order to address the issue of the increasing security risk to the eastern colonies from the Imperium along with potential security measures to alleviate such concerns. Although the discussions lasted for nearly two weeks, the Federation Diet, in an unusual bipartisan move, voted with a supermajority in both houses to implement a series of emergency measures across the Eastern Colonial Frontier. Many of these measures included diverting elements from the Federation's First and Third Fleets, the Eon Imperial Guard's Sixth and Twelth Fleet Detachments, and Arkan-Transyl's Task Force "Strigoi" to the Eastern Frontier in order to boost the overstretched Colonial Forces in the area already struggling to manage both the colonial and refugee populations in the area. Additionally, travel restrictions were set up in the region as well, particularly for travel across the eastern border in order to prevent smuggling or infiltration from the other side. This particular measure has had mixed results so far due to traders and humanitarian convoys often bypassing security in order to sustain the local economy along with supplying medical supplies to those stranded on the other side of the border. Curfews have also begun to come into effect on some worlds particularly close to the border as troops began to deploy and build up along many of the border worlds, preparing for any potential attack from the other side or a potential invasion in the event of a war. On Anzio itself, the garrison and government officials there began to take steps to prepare for the worst ranging from stockpiling weapons and supplies to placing their ships on standby in the event that a retreat or evacuation is needed. However, things remained calm, albeit tense, as the government prepared for the potential referendum to be held and continued to build and rebuild what was in the cities and such.
The atmosphere in the Federation overall was tense as rumors of a draft taking place in the event of war began to spread, causing the stock market to suffer it's lowest dip since the previous war. However, as the factories in the industrial worlds began to whir with activity as commissions for new weapons and vehicles began to flow in and the near ubiquitous four pointed star insignia of the Federation Humanitarian Association began to appear on ships and buildings in the Eastern Frontier, the Federation prepared. For war? Perhaps. For violence? Most definitely.

Syndicates Urge Bordering Powers to Peace The Combined Syndicates worried about the Citizens of Anzio and the growing federation presence along the border issues an Invitation for Arvug, The Federation and The Combined Syndicates to all come together on Anzio to discuss a settlement for rising tensions and promises to both power that it is not expansionary and seeks to simply support workers galaxy-wide in the struggle for freedom. “It is to be hoped that a peaceful settlement can be urged soon. This shall be my final triumph or my final failure.”, Said Jack Reed in a final statement, he recently has announced he will be stepping down for health reasons.
