In 1918, we revolted together(speaking of Don republic and Kuban People’s Republic) and joined the Russian revolution on the whites side. But in 1920 we changed sides and United because the whites where pushed away from the country. While the Commies were beating the anarchists, we beat the green movement, so USSR granted us independence. We still stayed as a grand duchy though, but we are Cossacks and we need freedom. So, in 1922 we took the decision of becoming a people’s republic. In 1923, the Cossack council was installed. Later, on June 3rd, 1928, some people that were wanting to bring the grand duchy back started a revolt and in June 5th they were in complete control of the country. They ruled bad so our country fell into chaos. But on July 10th 1928 it was finally restored!
On July 11th, 1928 the Cossack council took the decision that the country will become a democratic republic and they will be the secondary power in the country. The president has to be a member of the Cossack council. On July 13th, 1928 the elections finish with Pyotr Krasnov being elected as president. Pyotr Krasnov was worried about the inequality that the flag caused between the Don Cossacks(whose flag was shown) and the Kuban cosscks(whose flag hadn’t been shown at all). So on July 14th, 1928 his flag maker made the country a new, equal flag! On July 19th, it was changed. On August 25th, 1928 re-elections were held to see the stability of the regime. The monarchists won, and Aleksandr I became their leader! On 6th Of September evening there was a coup, and shortly after it, elections. We became a Democratic Kingdom(commonwealth) with kings being elected like presidents. Petr Krasnov was elected King and became Petr I on September 10th 1928. On September 26th 1928 we became a dual monarchy. We weren’t a commonwealth anymore. On December the 1st, 1928 war was declared to Slonskovia, a communist and a military Junta was established in the country for war, the king leading it himself. But Slonskovia voided, so on December 21st, we declared a holy war to Nova-gallia who voided it too. On the 10th of June, 1929 Petr Krasnov resigned as leader of the Dual Monarchy and the People’s republic was reformed. But on September the 20th 1929, the country fell into Chaos once again. This lasted for until December the 30th of the same year when a military Junta with General Andrei Shkuro at the head of it was installed in Kubandonia. On January the 12th, 1930 the military Junta was disbanded and a Republic was installed. On August the 24th of that year, the anarchists striked back and took over the Don Kuban Union, though a coup occured on May the 17th, 1931 and the President returned, completely wiping out the anarchists.
