Red, that was the colour of the wine which filled the glass of his wife, Empress Freya, sitting opposite him. She was wearing her usually long purple and black dress that lead up to the black imperial robe that hung over her shoulders, she slowly took a sip of the red wine through her natural red lips that went well with her naturally very pale skin. Above she wore a golden head piece that curved to be shaped like a smaller rams horn at either end of the headpiece that ended by her cheeks with a row of sapphires running around this part before leading into the red rubys that lined the rest of the headdress. The headdress kept her long, smooth, black hair behind it that was fashioned into a single plat that went over her right shoulder and rested in-front of her. Opposite the Empress sat Emperor Maximus, he was wearing his unique armour called "Diabhal" as he usually did which covered his whole body that hid his face behind the mask of the helmet. His metallic hands were placed together as his metallic fingers slowly tapped against one another as Maximus was thinking of what would happen when they would arrive at the castle and how Brittania's relationship with COIC would be changed by this new regime. "What will happen" he thought to himself curiously, he soon found another voice in his head "Doesn't matter what happens maxy boy, this would be a fun time for some chaos and battle!" letting out a sigh Maximus responded in his head "Not now Diabhal, I will be treating this with utmost respect as is my duty, I don't need your chaotic thoughts.... if i need you i will talk to you, not the other way around" "Roger Maxy" (OOC: voice thing something only Maximus can hear and is aware of).

Freya smiled at her husband with her perfectly white smile, through her wine glass, before she spoke to him "Im not that impressed quite honestly, what i read up on and the information we had prepared had presented this nation as alot more than it actually is" she took another sip of wine before continuing "But they are our ally, what can you do" she said as she held her arms and shoulders out and then looking directly at her husband. Her smile widened as she lent forward, placing on hand on his arm and the other on where his check would be. "I know you mind is busy but relax and enjoy yourself for once, this may be an important meeting for you but i know.. i know you'll handle it perfectly anyway." Maximus took her hands in his and happily spoke back "I know...." he looked out the window "Come, we have arrived."

The veichle came to a slow stop, outside the hundreds of Imperial Guard that had accompanied them, who were not at where the Imperial couple had been staying the night before, had formed up into their disciplined formations. 2 guards stood either-side of the vehicle door whilst anotehr stepped forward and opened the door, sending waves of natural light into the interior. Emperor Maximus was the first to leave, he calmly came out of the veichle and offered his hand to Freya, which she in proper etiquette took in hers as she held came out of the veichle. Standing side by side she wrapped her husbands arm in hers. "Shall we go then" she said to her husband in a half question, half telling way. Maximus noded before they started to walk down the middle of the Imperial Guard formation who, when the Imperial couple passed, shifted from their position to form orderly rows following behind them as they made their way casually towards the castle.
