Today, reports of rapid troop movement to the North of Vapia came in shortly following the announcement of a nuclear attack in Kurzakstan that could affect Northern Vapians. While no report was issued by the Ministry of Defense, thousands of troops were seen making their way towards staging grounds on the border. Additionally, Danyergish and Itallitopian soldiers were also seen in North Vapia, far away from where they would be stationed. Suspiciously, as soon as these reports had begun to be released, the Vapian Government announced that an agreement had been reached with the Fusean Empire and the Tramontane Imperium to send thousands of their troops to the Vapian constituent Kingdom of Lezza, as well as the Vapian Province of Sargenia to undergo specialized desert and mountain warfare training. When asked about the rapid troop movements, the Prime Minister simply stated that “Information about the Kingdom’s military operations is classified. We are committed to keeping the Kingdom safe from all threats, physical or nuclear.” Prime Minister Asandro of Itallitopia and Prime Minister Horvat of Danyerg declined to comment on their governments troop movements.

However, Emperor Rupert I made a brief statement to the Committee of Public Safety regarding the specialized troop training. When asked, Rupert responded with this.
“The Fusean Empire must be ready for combat in all scenarios. We are spreading twenty thousand troops between Anea and Verusa to maximize combat experience. Any accusation that the Fusean Empire intends to engage in combat against any nation on foreign soil is spreading unfounded rumors. The Fusean Empire is the leader of peace on the Fusean Continent, and no slander against this government by our adversaries will be tolerated.”

In the course of days, the feeling of security, that the pain of Kaiju attacks and the death it brought with them could be over, was dashed. The Syrandran Capital, Kygosuru, a City of 7 and a half million people, was site of a Kaiju battle. Luckily, it was contained to Residential ‘Chikomi-San’ District, and not much was lost, but still hundreds of people were dead, almost all of them were civilians. Across the Country, flags flew at half mast as the People mourned for lost loved ones, and Footage of the Kaiju battle spread like Wildfire. For many, this was the first time seeing these specific monsters, Komodithrax and Rodan Jr were not well known in public memory, Komodithrax because she was born in the year 2019, as well as Rodan Jr and Sozokujira. Seeing these Kaiju fight instilled a fear that many of the people of Syrandra once had in their ancestry.

However, since Rodan Jr and Komodithrax were obviously less hostile to humans and were briefly in such a populated area a lot of small fishing vessels got pictures of them as they departed. Syrandra would increasingly become more of a buzz as pictures of the Kaiju circulated around the web. Military statements would make the bold claim that the Kaiju could be felled by conventional Weaponry, in order to calm the populace. Many Kaiju experts, however, would debunk this as they pointed out that many Kaiju’s have survived the most the military has thrown at them. The Syrandran Government would release a follow up statement.

“It is clear~” The Syrandran Prime Minister said on the podium, “That the Monsters are in greater numbers than previously thought, I assure the people of this nation that there are measures being put into place to protect the nation from Monsters.”

With that, the Prime Minister prepared to leave the stage, but one of the reporters stopped up.

“Sir, what can you say about the Loss of the SNV Thunderchild?” The Reporter asked.

The Prime Minister turned, his face looked conflicted, dark bags hung under his eyes. He was tired, and he had no time for this nonsense.

“The Crew of the Thunderchild were a bunch of IAO Defectors that have tainted their legacy, that which they forge will forever be a Legacy of Monsters, there is nothing else to say.” The Prime Minister said, there were some murmurs around the reporters as he left. The Reporter who asked stared with a mixture of shock and disbelief, for his name was Harold Garrison Wells, and his brother, Admiral Honda, was the Captain of the Thunderchild.

Syrandran Military HQ

The Prime Minister followed the General into the Room, a war room with a screen on a table that displayed a zoomed in map of the Bay of Tokayo, the destroyed city which Hakaishin originally awoke from. Nothing was left of the city of course, besides the shattered steel frames of skyscrapers, burned ashes and the occasional burnt buildings. In the bay, however, Dozens of ships gathered, mostly small warships with a couple of Destroyers, and light cruisers mixed in. As the Prime Minister sat in the War Room, the ships in the bay hundreds of miles away rotated their guns towards the coast, the sky was filled with smoke, overcast, it was night anyway however, and today would be the day the new Weapon was tested.

A New Bomb, since Nuclear Weapons produced so much fallout which could blow along the wind into something important, like Friendly armed forces or worse, a city. The Solution was a weapon specifically designed to break apart the cells of Kaiju, by destroying the bonds between Oxygen and Hydrogen and thus disintegrating their flesh. The Weapon was known as an O2 Bomb, but the Weapon was typically called ‘Oxygen Destroyer’.

The Bomb was very expensive to produce, even more so than a Nuke. Syrandra had spent years developing the weapon, with full intent to use it to defend their cities. This Operation, however, was already starting during the Kaiju attack in Kygosuru, and as a result the Oxygen Destroyer would be unable to be used during the Attack. That was probably for the best, as it was an untested weapon, and even if it worked it would take Rodan Jr and Komodithrax, both defender Kaiju, with it. Although Syrandra would have absolutely pressed the button on both of them had it been an option.

Now, the target was the monster identified as ‘Ghost of Tokayo’, a Medium Kaiju around the Size of Sozokujira, it was also known as ‘Tyrannosaurus Ultima’ due to its Therapod-like Stance. It resembled Monster ‘98, Aka ‘Jira’, but had slightly shorter arms and different Dorsal spikes. The Creature had been confirmed to be resistant to Small arms and fire from lighter Armored Guns, and was probably resistant to most weapons. It had been decided to use this as a Prime Testing ground for the Oxygen Destroyer, since it would kill the creature if all went well.

“Alright, I need a check in from all the ships.” One of the Admirals said, and they all began the check in. Once that was done, the order was given to commence Operation ‘Raiju’, which was named after a Monster Slayer from Syrandran Folklore.

“General Quarters, General Quarters, All Hands Man your Battle Stations!” One of the Captains said over the Radio, through the screens the Prime Minister saw flashes of Gunfire as the Naval Ships opened fire, he heard a noise as Ultima Emerged, the Tyrannosaur like creature shrugging off, but clearly annoyed, by the fire from the ships. As the Ships moved the Creature Grabbed a small patrol boat, and holding it fired off a beam of a fire-like substance that hit a nearby destroyer, the beam focused into a single point and followed itself with a large explosion that blew the ship apart.

“Ultima is in position, 5,4,3,2,1…” There was a green flash as an explosion engulfed the Kaiju, a screeching noise was heard as it vanished in mist, and when it cleared nothing was seen.”

“Success!” Rang the Cheer, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. The Prime Minister looked at the Map displaying Nearby Kaiju, Komodithrax and Rodan were still moving towards Monster Island, so what could they be going for?

Were they seriously going to try and take on Hakaishin?

Suddenly, there was a Tap on his shoulder.

“Sir, there is something going on in Kurzakstan…”
