The Grand Federal Republic of Astana-Anders

Another Friend:

Joseph looks out of the window. It has been 6 weeks after the election and once again, his republic is doing well, but he feels something wrong. He has promised and delivered domestic stability and power for his country but yet, not foreign. He has made allies with Pinicada and North Electrica sure, recognized the White Wolves as the true sovereign state of Greater autenheim but he hasn't made big time alliances. Then he looks to the north side of his office. His head has an idea.

He gets up and calls his Chief Diplomat, Prussia Werdin. "My dear friend, I want you to go to an airport right this instant an see if you can get a meeting with the head of The Soviet state of Svalbard." Prussia is pleased to hear about this, making an alliance with a strong nation will certainly increase their influence. Joseph then watches Prussia's plane shoot off into the evening sky. He awaits a response.

Mikhail dismissed the blue hologram with a wave, his question carried his frustration, "Dolly how far is the target?"
"Fifteen minutes until visual contact, overflight shows no obstructions." The synthetic feminine voice replied, to which Mikhail followed with "Status of thier damn truck?"
"Overflight indicated that internal systems and reactor are still operational, as are its defensive systems." Dolly responded, "I recommend establishing tightbeam override and shutting down the main power, followed by dispersal of incapacitants."
With a sad nod Mikhail replied, "Corporate is already riding me to get this done fast, they aren't going to like having to cold boot the damn thing."
"Three salvos from primary weapons should down the barrier." Dolly stated with her monotone voice, "Yeah I don't make the rules, ping me when we have visual." Mikhail replied as he laid back in the soft chair.
Idle fingers wandered across the silk-lined cap, its regal purple rim with a delicate white peak crested with an old imperial emblem, the crossed rifle and sword coaxed a wistful sight out of the old man.
He stood and brushed his white hair back, blue eyes locked on the small vanity mirror as he sized up the uniform once more, an accepting nod and he made his way to the front of the walker.
Sand was the first thing to greet Mikhail, the rolling dunes spilled in the harsh wind, a half-crushed town slowly emerged at the end of the two long heavy trails that had lead them here.
"Distance?" Mikhail asked, "Fifteen kilometres." Dolly replied.
The raised control room gave him a wide view of the harsh desert, shimmering mirages carried through the hot air, but within the confines of the Pacifier Urban Suppression Unit he was experiencing a pleasant chill.
"Eyes on replicator, establishing tightbeam..." Dolly announced in her typical tone, "...tightbeam lost, they overrode it."
"So much for the easy plan." Mikhail muttered dejectedly, "Bring it in range." before pridefully seating himself, fingers rapping against sterile white consoles, a small shadow seemed to walk alone along the rough dirt road.
"...the hell is that?"
Dolly reacted instantly, the holographic interface shifted shapes and displayed the mysterious figure, a girl walked forwards through the harsh wind, black hair whipping across her face but her eyes locked to Mikhail's own in a steeled gaze, "...what's she playing at?"
"We are in range."
"Commence firing."
A hum built for a fraction of a second, before the air shattered, brilliant twin blue ion trails carved through the air from the sides of the walker and split as they crashed into the side of a shimmering field, spilling in all directions with a thunderous deafening blast.
The girl still stood, the sand scattered about her feet.
"Barrier destabilizing." Dolly helpfully reminded.
Mikhail blinked and closed the holograms with a dismissive wave of his hand, "...yeah, hit her again." he replied as he stared out through the main canopy towards the simple desert town, the bulk of the replicator truck wedged deeply within a myriad stone homes.
A second salvo sounded, again the brilliant beams lanced forth and cascaded into a million shards upon the shimmering barrier, black smoke began to pour outwards from the back of the replicator truck.
"Barrier stability critical."
Mikhail didn't respond, his mind far elsewhere as his eyes trailed across the horizon of the desert.

A shrill alarm sounded, two metallic bumps echoed across the metal hull about Mikhail, "...what was that?" he asked curiously, before the final salvo fired, immediately met with explosions that rocked the cabin.
"We are under attack." Dolly stated in her perfunctory monotone.
"Well attack back!" Mikhail shouted.
They had already surrounded the vehicle, its colossal segmented white-painted legs struck with rocket after rocket as the shadowy figures darted out and around the dunes, "Lock 'em up, FIRE DAMN YOU!"
Clad in dark robes that whipped in the wind, atop muscular furred beasts, stopping only long enough to sling a launcher to their shoulder and fire a rocket.
Metal turrets span to engage, spewing bright purple bolts at the attacking dogbear Calvary, the walker's own barrier flaring as the projectiles detonated against it, the rapid defensive fire caught one of them and split the beast in half, the person atop crashed into to the sand, smouldering.
The chin turret cut down two of the charging attackers but failed to stop the third, a violent explosion rang out as the entire cabin began to list to the side.
"...I don't get paid enough for this." Mikhail fumed, flipping up a small panel upon his seat and pressing the dark button with a resigned sigh.
"Initiating recall..."
He closed his eyes, a light consumed him, then the walker and soon nothing was left where it stood, devoured by a shimmering energy.

The 2020 Election: The Election Results

Joseph and Coraline's third debate was the most watched event in Astana-Anders history. Riots were continuing in the streets, from big urban megacities like Omniville and Atlas to even small rural cities like New Tornate City. More and more people were getting divise. By this point, many hard fans of the other parties like the Democratic Solidarity Party or the National Liberal Party were this time around going to vote for the Revolutionary Progressive Union and Joseph while the Democracy Citizens Caucus and the Movement of Democracy and Rights were going to vote for the Democratic Union of the Republic and Coraline.

Then the unthinkable happen, both parts of Parliament passed the bill that made the election results will be announced at 11/25/2020. The results were soon announced. Over 95% of the population voted with surprisingly little to none voting irregularities or fraud, except in the Lesser Omniville Department. The results were that Joseph Vargas won the election by 1.5 million votes. However, the votes in Lesser Omniville were very...odd. It said that 7 million people voted but the Department only has 7.8 million and a poll showed that 6.5 million people voted. A recount happened but the same result happened which didn't lined up with the polls. A huge riot broke out in literally every single department.

Protectorate Hungary wrote:Shawty’s like a melody in my head that I can’t keep out got me singing like nah nah nah nah everyday like my iPod stuck on replay replay.

Monday the twenty-third of November, on the third floor of the Winter Palace; down the long and winding corridors laid a room with a door simply labelled with ‘Stazzy’, or private in English. Inside of the unassuming room there was a fervent discussion going on amongst numerous high-ranking members in both the government and military: Pyeter Lavarov, the current leader of the SDL, had been called into meeting with the leading figures of the military; notably Land Captain Sarah Steel and field marshal Úrsula Aria in the army; Chief of Admiralty Nikolay Slavin was joined by Heino Kuhn, and the air force was represented by master of the naval branch Maya Ameliadjér. Lavarov was accompanied by his Chancellor of the Exchequer and political rival Trousel Donnalbain, as well as Chief of the Third Sector and leader of the MS, Yteya Bredislin along with her partner in crime and incumbent chief of the diplomatic corps, Rujura Mushafabar. A meek and delegatory man, Pyeter was rather uncomfortable with being forced into a more commanding role in the running of the kingdom, however his leading military figures had urged him to join them in their covenant at the Winter Palace after the election of Adorjan Voy in Hungary, to which, after much urging by fellow members of the government, he agreed to.
At this point, all members of the meeting were only waiting for Ameliadjér to show up; Lavarov was tapping his figures on the armrest of the chair he was sitting in, pale face and sky-blue eyes apprehensive, hoping the discussions will end sooner rather than later. On the contrary, Donnalbain, sitting across the room from his fellow SDL member, seemed to hastily take out his pocket watch at regular intervals, often tutting to himself about how long he was being made to wait. Unlike the man across the room, Trousel's pensive mouth and startling red eyes showed hints of frustration but perhaps excitement - he had been hoping for something to happen that would elevate his status in the government for a while. Yteya and Rujura were engaged in deep conversation about the happenings at their respective departments, whilst Nikolay Slavin was frantically messaging someone on a small cellphone. Juxtaposed to him was Heino Kuhn, sitting right next to him, seemingly perfectly still and unreadable behind his pitch black glasses. Sarash and Úrsula were sat at the front of the table, going over notes for the meeting again and again, thankful for Maya's late arrival.
After numerous more excruciatingly long minutes, the door finally burst open to unveil Maya concealed by a comically large pile of papers, only showing her slip-on black shoes and purple tights underneath. All present in the room turned to face her, as she slowly trudged towards the meeting table to firstly dump her papers, then sit down. As she did lay the sheets down, there was a unnervingly loud thud as she seemingly unknowingly dropped over a kilogram of important documents onto a glass table haphazardly.

"My apologies, ladies and gents, for the late arrival; however as you can see us lower members of the military high command have to deal with all the work." Slavin pulled his cap up and rolled his murky green eyes - contempt had become a common occurrence in the air force after the promotion of Maya Ameliadjér and Anton Gregorrenko, her equivalent in the army. Pyeter was eager for this malice to subside so the meeting could continue
"Not to worry Maya, let's get to the point."
“Well, as everyone who hasn’t had their earplugs over the weekend knows, the Farmer-Labourer party has won a plurality in the Hungarian parliament, which requires our attention.”
“Hate to interject, but why does should the democratic process in another country bother us?”
“Because” Sarah Steel then stood up to talk to Pyeter; her long, silky blonde hair trailing down her abnormally tall frame. “The allegiance of the protectorate of Hungary is of tantamount importance to the military doctrine of our nation - the doctrine my colleagues and I have spent extensive time revising over the previous weekend. The entire efforts of the army and navy-“
“And airforce” Maya speedily sputters out under her breath, catching the eyre of Sarah this time.
And airforce, if you are so inclined, will be mostly forfeit should Adorjan Voy gets what he wants.”
Lavarov pondered these words for a few moments, although his colleagues had already come to conclusions on what should be done on the matter.
“Well, we’re going to have to put this angry little man in his place!” Donnalbain was eying up the military leaders with excitement - should a conflict break out his previous experience in the military would allow him to justify increased influence over the government. Unfortunately, said leaders looked back at him with mixed looks of pity to disdain.
“It really isn’t that simple, my friend. Rujura spoke very firmly to Trousel, leading to two entering into an intense stare down.
“Oh really? And what would you know, you dimwitted tw-“
“If I may interject, gentlemen” Nikolay Slavin’s voice carried far across the room, drawing attention from all parties and stopping the situation between Trousel and Rujura from devolving. “The Svalbardian nation has tried its absolute hardest to avoided conflict for almost a century at this point - our most recent engagement was in the Biscuit War a few years ago, and even then we were a minor belligerent.”
“Ignoring that, the Melodian Independence War was in the seventies, and most people who participated in that do not serve us anymore.” Slavin silently thanked Heino Kuhn for his good memory - Nikolay couldn’t remember a single war save for the one he was a part of. “So simply put, our military is out of practice and jumping into a war would be risky.”
“It would also be good to remember that the Hungarians are a martial culture and will be significantly harder to defeat than their Melodians or Mendians.” The admirals and field marshal had made a good point, and now Trousel had a conundrum.
“But we simply cannot sit around and allow them to drift out of our sphere; something must be done!” General murmurings from all in the room besides Labarov showed Donnalbain he had support behind him, however what to do was the pressing issue.
“I agree Trousel, and there is another way.” All eyes then turned to Yteya, who hadn't yet spoken up at the meeting. "The Hungarian constitution holds a clause which permits the military to overthrow the government under 'exceptional circumstances'. Should we convince them that this election has caused such circumstances to arise, we can remove Voy without having to kill anyone, simple as that." Most in the room began to lighten up to Yteya's idea - it was a good compromise that would depose the problematic government without risking a war they might not win. Lavarov, however, ever the equivocator, refused to commit to a side as of this point.
"Should the plot be discovered, it will draw great amounts of anger from international observers"
"As if we don't have that already."
"Donnalbain, we're currently walking a fine line to not disturb the rest of the world - should they grow tired of us our survival cannot be guaranteed."
"A fine line? I'd say we crossed that line long ago good sir."
"And what the hell do you know about intelligent geopolitics you bumbli-"
"Gentlemen!" Yteya's booming voice took control of the situation, causing the two SDL senators to shut up almost immediately. "The Third Sector has always kept a keen eye on Hungary for this very purpose; an operation there has a low chance of failure and an even lower chance of being scuttled."
"But you see Bredislin, I believe we don't need to interfere in the politics of the Magyar at all." Everyone in the room at that point sat silently, flabbergasted at Lavarov's lack of assertiveness. "Should the new government see us not muddling with their rightful popular mandate to govern, then they will cease to view Svalbard as a threat, thus eliminating the problem." Many in the room were about to speak up, however Pyeter finally had a moment of purpose as he quickly overpowered their voices. "As Chief Secretary of this government, my decision is final and will no longer be up for debate. This meeting is now over, and you are all free to leave" Most people in the room then either held their head in their hands or simply looked at Pyeter in disbelief - except for Maya, who snorted to herself under he breath.
Despite Pyeter being the one to offer to others to leave, he himself fled the scene first, followed by an incredibly riled up Trousel whom himself was tailed by the military staff. Rujura told Yteya to stay behind, and as Maya left whilst shutting the door on the way out, Rujura wasted no time getting straight to the point.

"The diplomatic corps recently got a request for an alliance."
"Oh, joy of joys, I remember from when I worked there how that usually goes."
"Yes, and I've written a draft for a response to them, I just need a second opinion to check on it."
"Alright, I'd be glad to." [i]Rujura then pulled out a document on his phone, and the two went over it for around about another hour before themselves parting ways into the cold Svalbardian night..."

Message from the Diplomatic Corps of Svalbard, to the nation of Astana-Anders
Firstly, you should learn some simple respect and understand sending an ambassador to another nation without their permission is not welcomed in most countries, let alone our own. Secondly, it would be prudent to understand that Svalbard is not a strong country, nor does it have any intention on wasting resources to be one, so trying to flatter us with compliments such as this is not a move of much tact. Third, a simple look at the nation's government would show you that there is no single head of government to be found in this nation, unless one is willing to speak to 500 senators. And finally, for 81 years this nation has pursued a policy of non-interaction with other nations, so you will have to bring more to the table than a country where gang wars start when an election happens should you wish to entice us. Good day.

Her ears bled, her skin blasted and pitted with sand, the shimmering shockwaves from the railgun fire burned into her eyes as she forced herself to take step after step to the limping pale blue machine.
Its cream coloured camouflage blasted away, chin mounted cannon quickly turning its twin barrels upon her before the entire mechanical construct began to glow, scintillating orbs of ionizing air burned away before with a flash and rush of freezing cold air the metal monstrosity vanished.
Shards of ice began to fall down, a harsh snow in the blistering desert, slowly she stepped forwards... her hand reached down to curiously touch upon the frost-coated sand as she all but neglected the approach of one of the riders.
Heavy footsteps approached in the fleeting snow, a voice spoke, deep and feminine, "Was that your doing, child?"
The girl looked from one end of the dark shallow crater to the other, "...I don't think so..." before the chill finally showed upon her, she quivered in the cold.
As a crowd slowly filled the streets behind them, the rider gently kneeled and cradled the girl in her arms, as she walked back to the waiting dark-furred dogbear she faced the crowd and asked, "Does she have a name?"
"...Irene... I think." One spoke, "No one was waiting for her." they continued.
"She is not safe here." the cloaked rider stated bluntly as she firmly secured Irene in her arms atop the loyal beast, "But send word salvation has come."
With the final words, the rider spurred her mount to action and they charged off towards the shade of the distant jungle...

The 2020 Election: The Aftermath and the consequences

It had already been 3 months since the riots and a lot has already changed. The Revolutionary Progressive Union was renamed into the Social Progressive and Labour Assembly and the Democratic Union of the Republic has been disbanded. The courts now have made it illegal to change the date of the election results and as it turns out, the votes were actually being manipulated by a rogue Greater autenheim general who had made it into being the head of the Patriotic Renewal Party. He had planned to use the chaos as a plan to distract the nation long enough to have it be invaded by Greater autenheim. It also had help from the National Socialist Party. Now a new committee has been formed called the Political Party Investigations Bureau to try and stop anything like this from happening again. The nation has now been to heal. Omniville is now even more sleeker and beautiful than before.

Now Joseph sips a cup of tea while playing chess with one of his Presidential Protection Guards or P.P.G. Soldiers for short. It is a quiet day, a nice day. His second term has now begun. He has plans later on. He plans to make a full scale alliances with Italian canada, Quziq, North Electrica, Grenopia, and possibly United brennia if his majesty's government has cooled down from the whole war trouble. He also has plans to hold a meeting with the White Wolves of Greater autenheim and also increase regional awareness of the war. He also has plans to help his nation become more powerful domestically but for now he sips his tea and moves his queen to 4b. There is time to just relax, there is always time.

(OOC: Please inform me when you seek to use members of my military, government, etc so that I can be aware of your intentions with how they are to be used. Greater Autenheim is in no way able to commence an invasion of another nation, and it seeks not to. Greater Autenheim will not be involved in Astana-Anders politics nor will it seek to invade Astana-Anders. Officials of the First Auten Empire are currently busy with the on-going civil war and are in no fit state to bring forth a government's collapse in order to allow for an invasion, as well as my military's main focus as a defensive force. Thank you for understanding and have an amazing night.)

It has been quiet for the last few weeks. Children are playing hopscotch on the streets, factories are producing steel and wood and no smog comes out after sweeping environmental reforms, and Joseph is sipping his tea and reading his favorite book "1984". It has been 3 months since the whole riots and the arrest of the deranged general and he is surprised by all the political parties, not a single fascist party at all. The closests there is the People's Majority and that is only a departmental political party."Could this be the end of fascism and violence in this nation? I hope so?"In a underground hideout in the woods of Frederick-Alderman, a young man is watching his members clean their guns and put supplies in there cars and trucks. There are not Anderians, there are Zahireans. Angry Zahireans, they are nationalists. There government has been trying for literally 4 years to gain back 100 miles of territory in the west that belong to them. That territory once belong to them but was carved up and given to the Veltus Department. They have asked the Anderian government to give it back and Joseph has tried to pass laws to give it back but it has always failed. Over 15 million Zahireans are in there wanting to be part of their homeland and they will deliver it. He gets a call, time is almost here. Just need the right moment to strike.

For many weeks, the White Wolves had been making progress. The massive artillery had been no match for the guerilla tactics of the small teams, but there was an issue now, one that required special attention. The White Wolves had taken the entirety of Svartjord Gard and had nearly liberated all of Blågard. In Blågard were two very important places, the Jardin de Courrone Ville and the Sør-Autenheim Grossartig Kaiserliche Marine Basis. The first was the most southern city, a large port city with casinos, entertainment, and a heavy tank garrison. The city itself is named after the largest casino there, the Crown City Garden Casino. Here is where a large portion of the rich of Greater Autenheim spent their time gambling, buying the hottest clothes, and selling military grade equipment from privately owned factories which The First Auten Empire sought to take down along with the free market. If the White Wolves could capture the city with the inhabitants safe, there was a good chance they could get their hands on refined equipment.

In the night, the city once buzzed with life, and it still did some. Kaiser Ubel hadn't been able to fully grip the city, and it would be perfect for the White Wolves to take the city.

POV: A young man from the countryside of Svartjordgard.

21:54

We sat in the brush on the outside of the city. We had gathered a large force here to take the city, nearly 2 battalions. The attack was planned on the word of Oberkommandant Wolfenstein, where the 2 battalions would charge forward into the tank and infantry perimeter. The Oberkommandant had told us to capture the tanks and not to destroy them at all costs because we needed them for a large assault.

23:47

We had charged into the lines of men, firing upon them with our rifles. They told us this would be the toughest part of the assault, but I had my doubts. For nearly 40 minutes we had attacked the line, but they Reichsarmee soldiers were being replaced by the city garrison. They had no artillery here, but the tanks that lined the perimeter were large and powerful. It wasn't until 00:56 that we finally took the line and captured the tanks. Those who captured the tanks were ordered to hold the line out on the perimeter. We were deep inside White Wolf territory, but anything could happen.

01:00

When we entered the city, MG positions were placed at the entrance. This held back our advance momentarily, but we were able to take the positions with minimal casualties. When we had taken the buildings, our snipers had set up inside the buildings. In mine was the famous sniper, Aatton, who had set up. Before the civil war began, he was a sniper in one of the very few active military elements. He was most known for his operations in civil wars abroad, making a name as a superior marksman. I had wanted to ask him many questions about the struggles of his time abroad, but we had a mission in our hands. We had to make our way to center city to the Crown City Garden where the Crown City Garden Casino was. If we made this spot and took the casino, we could effectively control the city and capture the remaining Reichsarmee garrisons. We charged forward with the snipers high above, covering us. The spearhead we made through the city was fast and ripping like those of the tales from the mystical worlds of those with shields and javelins. Many soldiers of the Reichsarmee had deserted to us, the true colors of how people felt coming clean.

02:28

The doors of the Crown City Garden Casino opened gargantuanly. It seemed that the Reichsarmee had not fortified the casino, for it was completely empty of people. We had taken time to settle in the casino, setting up defenses to our south. If they were not held up at the casino, that means that they were most likely held over at the port. I had been on the top floor in the dome of the casino, looking beyond to the port. In the dark of night with the lights about, it was easy to see the great port.

04:00

We moved out of the casino, going south towards the port. As we reached the port, it had become apparent to us that the majority of the Reichsarmee was held up here to hold the port. This was perhaps the most fearful thing I had done in life as we turned every corner of the shipping containers, never knowing what was on the other corner. As we exited the cargo section of the port, we were met with heavy positions of MGs who were fighting to hang on to the dry docks and such.

05:12

As the sun rose over the horizon, we had taken the city. For 7 hours we had assaulted it and finally taken it. It was a long battle for a strategic point, and we had taken it. Now we had to transport the tanks to Uranstadt to be refurbished while the 2 batallions would Forvirringsby to refit and rest. Apparently a large force was gathering there where we would travel to Uranstadt to attack a position. But one couldn't know the secrets of the Kriegsrat.

Greater autenheim wrote:For many weeks, the White Wolves had been making progress.

Joseph saw what was going on and knew he had to act. He didn't liked the fascist government of Greater autenheim and wanted to do something about but the parliament and courts would only allow it if there was a major victory. With the victories at the two cities finally got the courts and the parliament to allow him to send supplies to the White Wolves he also sent letters to all the countries in Northern Utopia to get everyone to recognize the White Wolves and the imperial government in exile and send supplies to them. However, it would only make sense to make an alliance official. So Joseph wrote this telegram to the leader of the White Wolves and the government in exile.

"To the Leader of the White Wolves in Greater autenheim and imperial government in exile,

I request that you come over to my capital of Omniville of Astana-Anders to form an official alliance. By doing so, your government will have even more legitimacy and the ability to have more supplies, a an allied nation, and a safety net incase everything fails. The meeting will concern the topics on how to finally end the war and figure out what to do after the war both in a success and failure scenario. The meeting will happen in the Lancaster Tower. Please do attend said meeting. Respond when you can.

Signed,
Joseph Vargas, Lord President of Astana-Anders"

Surrounded by a seemingly endless ocean a single guard watched in silence at the pristine and purple waves, the sun beginning to set. Large ships are seen in the near distance as smaller ships loaded large containers and machinery onto themselves and ferried them over to the island, on the island itself a large portion of jungle had been cleared out for future construction of Site Apollo. He sighed with a hint of sadness, this area of the island was beautiful and bright, but it unfortunately was chosen as the place for their new base of operations and the 'weapon'.

The rest of the island was mainly unaffected thanks to the engineers clearing out what was needed, at least that way there was some form of view besides the ocean. Behind him he heard the sounds of careful footsteps, turning he saw his newest teammate Pvt. Yen. She was wearing the same full suit as him which covered up her face, but there was some tufts of black hair poked out from under the helmet.

Soldier: "Came to watch the water Private?" He asked, the soldier looked at him while walking up besides him.

Pvt. Yen: "Just making my rounds Sarge, or do I call you Sargent Kell?" She asked, she was fresh right out of training and this was her first deployment with a new squad. So she was of course slightly nervous as she didn't want to mess up, something the sargent noticed when she first came.

Sarge: "Just call me Sarge rookie, no need to use both my rank and name." He says turning back to the ocean view, she walked up and joined in watching the setting sun, the ships in the background doing their thing. "As I have said, no need to be so nervous on your first mission. Doesn't help when you think to much."

Silence would return as the soldiers watched as the ships ferried their cargo, birds nearby was eating some seeds that had been spread out to the ground from the forest clearing and construction. It seemed surprisingly calm despite being a military installation intended to house a massive weapon of war.

Inside Main Building

Two synthetics stood at a holo table, showing a hologram of the planned structure glowing yellow, surrounding the hologram was multiple touch screens showing live feeds from around the base, the island, and even some ships, all of which to watch the progress of Site Apollo. One of the synthetics was a humanoid machine with four arms, colored in matte silver with Yellow and Black strips on the left shoulder and a decorative shoulder pad on the right. The other meanwhile had a more advanced version of human-looking synthetic bodies, taking on a olive skin tone with white hair.

The room itself was part of modular building, not very large but was enough to act as a temporary field command center. A standard dark grey with yellow designs with computers and other appliances covering the room.

4 Arms: "Have any of the NEAF councilors given ant other orders? Considering our location I'm surprised no one has of yet found our location."

Human AI: "As of now our orders still stand, establish our hold over the island and oversee construction until a Kommandier comes to take command of our installation. Also I suggest you calm down on your paranoia, we have some of the best radar cloaking technology our nation has to offer, along with jammers and advanced radar-sonar detectors. We will be fine." The other AI really didn't believe that last part, they where establishing a base of operations with sensitive data and valuable materials and technology, that falling into foreign hands would pull NE into a international incident that no one wants

And they are most certainly not the ones with the best tech.

4 Arms: "But that's besides the point. I still don't like the fact that we are operating barely above usual standards concerning defense and personnel." The other synthetic begins to speak but they are cut off. "And no need to tell me what this is, it's a secret mission to build a massive cannon. Not trying to fault our engineers nor superiors but are they even sure that this weapon will even work once completed? Or hell how can we defend against foreign attack when our reinforcements is thousands of miles away?" He voiced his concerns, may it be warranted or just paranoid rambling the other synthetic couldn't help but agree. If some other country somehow manage to discover what is happening and take action, things will not go well.

Site Apollo Overview

The materials, machinery, and equipment needed to make the Apollo cannon is underway to the nearby island of (No Name) in the Tropic regions of Utopia. At least 1000 Electran soldiers are on active duty at Site Apollo with the orders to defend the island and anything of value on it.

4 characters have been established for the Apollo Site, and eventually the power source and turning mechanisms the Apollo cannon will be constructed by the end of the year or by March before moving to the actual weapon. So far things are going smoothly with Apollo.

Mikhail's head throbbed as his gut ached, a deep dryness sat in his mouth as his seat lurched upwards, dry eyes opened to the chrome-covered metal arm pulled the walker's frame back into shape and Mikhail was left to stare at the gunmetal grey wall marked with a dozen meter tall 'Receiver Bay 02'.
"Quantum tunnel contained, recall successful." was announced by a dull deep synthetic voice, followed by a light pleasant chime and a further announcement, "Mikhail Vethrenia to debriefing."
Mikhail left his hat upon his leather chair, "How is it looking, Dolly?" he asked as he trudged angrily towards from the control room, "Actuator Damage from lightweight penetrators, main armour intact, all systems report green."
"They knew right where to hit us..." Mikhail mumbled as he opened the side door to reveal the sterile metal catwalk with an unwelcome figure stood upon it.
"Mikky, Mikky, Mikky." The raven haired man spoke with his gravelly tone, "What are we to do with you?"
Mikhail stared intensely, burying his wanted response deep, "I was ambushed and overflight..." was all he could out before the man wrapped an unwelcome hand about Mikhail's shoulders, "Think about how this looks, Mikky... your little toy broken, so much wasted power on the recall and worst of all, you didn't recover the replicator."
"Push off, Bennet, Your intel was wrong." Mikhail stated as he shoved his way past, Bennet shook his head as he followed and spoke, "You have this fantastical beast, this Urban Pacification Walker, yet it seems the urban remains unpacified and it lacks the capacity to walk."
Mikhail turned about, "You want miracles, beg your god, you want results, give me what I need." he retorted with a focused gaze, "So if you ha..."
"You Have what you need, Mikky." Bennet interjected firmly, before his tone shifted to a faux friendliness. "But this is not up to me, I'm merely... a concerned stakeholder."
Mikhail took a final look at his machine, the enormous quadruped walker still leaned to one side in spite of the many heavy arms that held it, forming a dejected reply "Yeah and you can shove that concern where it belongs." before he walked away along the catwalk, through the sliding silver metal doors and into the deep barren corridor.
As soon as the door shut behind him, he let loose his anger, slamming his fist right into the hardened metal wall with a calamitous blow, mild indentations left from his gloved hand, Mikhail took several deep breaths before slow steps approached from down the corridor.
"I reviewed the footage." the old man spoke softly, "You encountered the swamp witches."
Mikhail turned to face the old man, long white beard narrowed with age, a dark green Kjanu uniform from ages past, a chest emblazoned with a dozen medals and two score ribbons, he walked with an ornate gilded cane.
"Swamp witches, General?" Mikhail inquired as his rage subsided, "What the hell do you mean?"
"Exactly that, Colonel." the general replied, "A sect of some religious tomfoolery... they've been a pain." he stated with a hint of frustration.
Mikhail casually walked up to the general's flank and spoke, "They had anti-armour projectors and aim to match, overflight didn't see them coming."
"If all goes well, you'll have your... revenge soon enough." the general nodded after his reply and continued his slow walk down the corridor.
Mikhail watched for a few moments before Bennet emerged from the hangar, Mikhail narrowed his eyes, turned away and briskly departed towards the debriefing.

The Democratic Socialist State of Kjanu

The darkened surface was Northern Utopia speckled with bright spots of light, above it, a black expanse similarly speckled with bright bursts of fire. The distant planet was mirrored by a spinning circle of black, now larger than a small Grenopian town. It’s white edges spiraled like electricity, and surrounding it was a constant barrage of explosions. Missiles and bullets flew up from the surface below. Some crashed into each other and detonated before hitting their target. Others flew unceremoniously into the portal, disappearing into the thin abyss. A Few ships and shuttles joined the missiles that entered the portal. Many satellites had vanished into the abyss, their signals never arriving to the surface below.

The shuttle fell to the surface and landed softly, pushing away the layer of white mist to reveal flowing teal grass. The former Thane stepped out of the shuttle, his feet landed on the thick grass causing it to radiate. As he stepped away from the ship it slowly dissolved into small dust and seeped into the grass. The Thane didn’t notice, instead focusing on the grey pine trees that surrounded the misty opening. The trees formed a low canopy of leaves that pierced the cloud-covered sky like mountain peaks. Around the clearing rockets slowly drifted towards the surface, their tips digging into the tall grass before gravity suddenly took hold, pulling the rockets down on their sides with great thuds. The Thane didn’t notice as the rockets slowly swirled to life and flailed rapidly in the air as giant metallic serpents. The Thane stepped through the mist and the beasts, and entered the forest around him.

As soon as the Thane entered the trees, he had arrived somewhere else. A small town, similar to a coastal Praefectean village on a winding hill. The hill’s peak glowed a blinding white light, shining a beacon into the cloud-blanketed sky. The Thane walked down the road. The buildings’ plaster was flaking off, and their windows and doors were open showing an impossibly dark and empty interior. The red-tiled roofs slanted down over the wide cobbled streets where ornate metal chairs and tables sat cold and empty.

The Thane walked for an eternity, the hill hadn’t seemed large from the bottom, yet now he could no longer see the base of the mountain. Around him the trees were gone, instead, dark ragged mountain peaks surrounded the tranquil villa. The clouds were not any closer than they had been, but their bright underbelly illuminated the quiet town. As the Thane passed through the town there were still no people. Still, the Thane wasn’t quite able to shake the feeling that he wasn’t truly alone, something had to be at the peak.

Eventually the town grew brighter and the still distant mists above reflected the blinding light of the peak. The Thane was coming close to whatever waited at the end of the road.

And he rose into the bright shining light, unable to see ahead; The Thane tried to cover his eyes with his arm but found it impossible to escape the light, the heat, the pure energy that burned around him. He could not see but he knew what stood in front of him. The town at the peak was nothing but burned rubble, and above it was something pure. A small white ball, ablaze with glory, drifted slowly from the grey mists above, trailing behind it were two long grey sheets of metal, drifting haphazardly through the air and the light. It stopped its descent before the surface of the burnt town, its long metallic sheets spinning around its core.

It said nothing to the Thane, the only sound was the fire crackling as the wind reignited the burnt embers. Despite its silence, the Thane understood the being. It was calm, despite the blinding light and burning heat that it emanated.

It represented something so whole, it made the man realize his own emptiness. He now recognized that this version of himself was one of many walking through the forest, and until its doorway closed the Thane he represented would be forever absent from this plane.

And with the knowledge seared into his mind, this version of the Thane cried a single tear before melting away into the light, ashes glimmering as they flew through the mists above and past the shuttle where the real Thane sat unconscious.

Soldiers with automatic machine guns are guarding a nearby area. The area in question is a dock with a cargo ship getting materials and leaving passengers. Men, women, and children are hurrying up and down the ramp. They are Greater autenheim refugees. They have been given temporary asylum during the conflict. When everyone has gotten off, soldiers grab boxes and crates full of items important. They are filled with weapons, tools, gasoline and oil, as well as money in which they can convert it into Auten Marks. They have been given 1000 pounds of all of those materials with more ships on the way. They are heading to Greater autenheim to give the White Wolves all of those supplies. When Astana-Anders gets more permanent allies, they will attack all at once. The captain whistles and the ship goes off. 5 more ships come into the distance to drop off refugees and get supplies. It will be a long day.

General Hans Håkon of the Imperial Republican Auten Front

Dear Lord President Joseph Vargas (Astana-Anders)

We appreciate your concern with our current situation and have recognized your requests. We regret to inform you that we will have to decline you alliance request at the moment. We are happy to see that your government would like to support us and are happy to accept your supplies via oceanic shipping via the Jardine de la Couronne Ville Port in the south. We would also like to request that citizens of our nation fleeing to your country be given temporary asylum, as the few that are going there. We request that once our conflict has ended that your government relocate our citizens back to their home country of Greater Autenheim. We are aware of the large amount of refugees that are going to your nation and we must request that you only accept a small number, those being children and women. We need the help of all able-bodied men to fight for our country's freedom.

Respectfully, General Hans Håkon of the Imperial Republican Auten Front

Joseph is belivred by this response. Why would they not want an alliance, Joseph writes a letter and hands it to his messenger. The letter reads the following:

"We will gladly send you supplies and give your citizens temporary asylum, by why must you decline an alliance? If you can give me reasons, that will be great."

He hands the letter to his messenger and off he goes.
