Forum Squared

I have an idea for the first Forum Squared subsidiary: An interview series, interviewing individuals, only the most influential to speak publicly, unlike the other more common series like this, questions actually personal, like personal conflicts faced on the forums, what they would change, and more lighthearted questions like their favorite user and thread, keeping it more on the formal side.

Just popping by here, but I believe that’s quite a good idea. Of course, it depends on the criteria used to consider a user “influential”.

Really just quality users that are fairly active, we could attempt some legacy acts with less active users.

On a completely different subject, one of your aims with this region is to get embassies with effortposter regions or regions housing effortposters, right?

I look up. I see imposing pillars of gray.

They don’t sway, they loom over the grass and bushes, the trees and the sky.

They only lie, watching me trip, watching me tumble, watching me fall.

My downfall, they stay silent, they jeer; it’s loud, it hurts, yet they stay.

 

Watching my failures, watching me stumble along this endless path.

They laugh, they revel in this endless cycle, as I walk in circles, as they grow into towers.

They shower me with compliments: hollow, fake, forgotten lies, all too tempting bait.

They berate me with insults: what’s done is naught, what’s to come is too late.

They beckon me with lights: colorful, enchanting, hypnotic sounds reduce me to nothing.

 

Nothing but a moth, fragile as a leaf,

Nothing but a fly, trapped in an intricate web,

Nothing but a worm, stuck in its vibrant cocoon.

A cage that mesmerizes me, until my eyes glaze over.

A cage that paralyzes my limbs, until they’re as numb as stone.

A cage that destroys my brain, until nothing is left,

Nothing but a useless, worthless mush of gray.

I don't know why I enjoy something so minimalist as much as I do. It's a poem, and I like it really well.

Generally yes, while balancing out for casual conversation as I don't want to have an elitist region just a region with everyone better than the rest the embassies are to accomplish more casual users, people in here that have their main nation with their own region, and generally regions that house our members if possible.

I'll start working on a Forum Squared dispatch sooner or later. I might make it as to where A BOY IS A PUPPET is under it as well, when I say under Forum Squared I mean through affiliation. It's like albums released under labels, it's just what it's under.

I hope this doesn't end up in a similar state as All City Chess Club
