Members of Belogarian Parliament have submitted a proposal to alter the school curriculum that would require schools to teach both native religious beliefs and non native religious beliefs such as Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism etc.

The bill would require schools to teach children above the age of 10 about religions from across the world, and would require that teachers and schools remain as unbiased as possible when teaching other beliefs in order to be more fair.

The bill although popular amongst many in parliament, is being opposed by many citizens within the nation, with many public speakers claiming that allowing the passing of this bill would undermine the nations culture, history and beliefs, and some more conservative public speakers have even claimed that this bill is a clear and lazy attempt for the Belogarian Government to try and get in good with and to ‘appease’ the various other nations in Europeia

Updates on the situation will continue until the debate has met its conclusion

Our country is Christian with a Catholic majority, we could send priests to your country and preach

I don’t know if that’s a good idea just yet

A lot of people in the country aren’t very accepting of new ideas, and the bill hasn’t even been passed yet

But we’ll accept anyways
