Well the reason U.S.A became the "superpower" (About Air Force strength not Airlines) because U.S.A actually stole these Messerschmitt technology and made their own versions like China does to Russia (but not like reverse engineering it.)
And during the Cold War, Jet tighter we're actually at it's golden times until zis day.
This isn't a conspiracy theory again, THIS IS TRUTH.

And another reason WHY I HATE American government.
Edit:
They don't credit the important technology of the original owners instead, they insisted it was developed by "THEM"

Disclaimer this isn't an argument. I know, complain that there's no drama fun fact - the first fighter jet that the US produced, the P59 Airacomet's engines were actually a British design which they gasp didnt steal but was requested and given authorization to produce. The Me262 was "captured" cough stolen cough and tested and gave rise to the F-86 Sabre, Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-15 and the Boeing B-47

Sicilian imperial-capitalist empire wrote: Why? What's so bad about Texas?
Poland-kaliningrad wrote:Oh yeah, it's all coming together. Reason number a: The flag. I cannot stand Texas's usage of their flag, and even the way it looks. For one, it's literally just the Chilean flag with darker colors and with the blue band extended down rather than just serving as a Canton. You could argue that they wanted to model it after Chile's since several Latin American countries have similar flags, but this is unlikely. While the design I simply don't like, the usage absolutely irks me. Texas is the only state to both have its state flag as large as the national flag, and to fly it as high as the national flag. The U.S. state flags are to be smaller than Old Glory, and are to be flown underneath it. Flying a state flag the same size and height as a national flag makes it seem as though Texas is it's own Sovereign nation, which it is not, and has not been for a very long time. It's disrespectful and arrogant, and it irks me so.
Reason 2: The arrogance. Texas prides itself on being "the best." If it's from Texas, it must be the largest and best of its kind. They act like they're the best and biggest state, and I guess they pretend Alaska doesn't exist.
Reason C: The culture bleeding. This is honestly more of a Louisiana gripe than a Texas one, but Texas is a large contributor to it, so it's here. Louisiana has a massive culture divide between north and south, and it shows. While South Louisiana (think Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette, Lake Charles, etc.) is a lot more of the Louisiana stereotype you think of (cajun, creole, gumbo, crawfish, eccentric Mardi Gras parades, lots of intertwined cultures), north and mid Louisiana is more like Texas and Arkansas, and has much more in common with its surrounding states than the rest of LA. Texas is by far the largest contributor to this, and Texans act like Shreveport or Nachitoches or Monroe or Alexandria is just east Texas rather than a different state where we don't drive 80 mph through a residential area.
Numero 4: The fame and glory hogging. Texas gets most of the credit for all of the deeds done in the Southern U.S. When most people think "the south," their first thoughts wander to Texas, and apply the Texan stereotype to the entire South. Ever heard of Louisiana's oil industry? No? Well, you've likely heard of the BP oil disaster, and I guess successful oil industry is found nowhere else than in Texas. Virginia? Huh, must be a bunch of yeehaw rednecks running around in cowboy hats shooting whatever comes into sight.
The Texas stereotype is bad enough for Texas, but it only gets worse when applied to the entire southern U.S.A. I could probably lost a few more, but I believe I've made my point. I don't like Texas, and think it's over rated.
Voila.

1. Texas and Chile's flags being similar is actually entirely a coincidence. As far as I can tell, there was zero conscious effort to ripoff the Chilean flag in any way.
2. This might come as a culture shock to you, but that's called culture , and it doesn't mean they're not proud Americans.
3. Louisiana's cultural issues are wholly separate from Texas, contrary to what your post claims. The thing is, South Louisiana is the only part of Louisiana that was truly culturally French. The north part (until it's settlement by the US) was largely devoid of Europeans. So it would actually be correct to consider North Louisiana to be a cultural extension of Arkansas and Texas.
4. I don't know about you chief, but people don't describe Texas like it carries the South. The only stereotype that's true in this statement is the one about oil, the rest are simply untrue. When most people think of the South, they don't actually think about Texas. Texas has such an independent spirit that the first thing people really think of when it comes to the South is Alabama . They're the real representation of the Southern stereotype, and everyone associates it with the South.
In conclusion, no need to be salty about Texas. They may be our rival state (coming from a Californian), but they're an admirable rival.
