That inconvenience is a consequence of how Roxium vehicle tech had developed.

Speed limits in the Roxium Federation are in miles per hour.

Most urban arterial roads have speed limits from 30 to 40 miles per hour. The narrow roads of many Roxium neighborhoods have speed limits of at most 15 miles per hour, but good luck hitting it when said roads are often only just wide enough for two kei cars (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kei_car) to just barely squeeze by each other. Rural non-expressway roads generally have a speed limit of 55 miles per hour. Expressways have speed limits ranging from 50 to 90 miles per hour. The expressways with the 90 mile per hour speed limits are generally only found in flat rural areas.

Anarchy is Splatoon 3's ranked mode. Ranks are C-, C, C+, B-, B, B+, A-, A, A+, S, S+. S+ starts off at S+0 and goes to S+50.
