The situation in western Emnaria was confronted by Edward Stewart V in a speech at Konstaht Castle to a crowd of 150,000 people, "In the current events unfolding, it has become necessary to take militaristic measures to further regulate the spread of Communist ideals in Emnaria. An example will be made of these rebels who resort to violence and anarchic overthrows to gain equality for their people. Communism has been excluded from politics for a reason. Slavery, dictators, and socialism all describe one thing. COMMUNISM! Emnaria has dealt with such problems in the past, and has succeeded in preventing a seizure of power by such misguided parties. It is for the stability of the nation, and the preservation of democracy and the Emnarian people, that the Communist threat is hereby declared a rebellion. They will not be recognized as a nation. They are politically, and legally an internal threat to national security."

An additional order of 5,000 soldiers has been enacted. Elements of the 5th Infantry corps have loaded up onto trains to be delivered to western Emnaria. The 57th Air Support Squadron has deployed to the sector to bomb the village. Sadly the ruins of a fort where the first effective machine gun use are in the target area. However, new precision bombs are hoped to avoid collateral damage.
