I don't think tear gas was at all needed
Police statement even admitted it was very few people who threw rocks
The tear gas got people hospitalised and kids and elderly protestors who are nothing but defenseless got caught in it too and perhaps innocently beaten when they rolled in with batons

We expected better and should've gotten better
