RUSSIA, PREPARED FOR CONTINUED CONFLICT URGES AN END TO PROVOCATIONS

Iran’s violation of the agreement securing Georgian and Armenian sovereignty was grave provocation and a rookie foreign policy decision. As the sole adherent to such agreement, and thus the defender of Georgian and Armenian sovereignty, the Russian Federation beholden to the Georgian and Armenian people embarked on a war of liberation in the Caucasus Region. Russia’s swift military action, with troops experienced as a result of the SGRI campaigns, would see the conflict end within a month. Following would be the reassertion of state sovereignty in Georgia and Armenia, the liberation of the oppressed Azeri Turks in Azerbaijan, and the establishment of the Turkic Republic of Golestan. With the regions on the road to transitioning to democracy, and despite a ceasing of armed conflict, the Iranian state continues it’s provocations despite no treaty being in place.

Following the ceasing of conflict, the rogue Iranian state has increased troop presence on its borders in the Caucuses, with the Turkic Republic of Golestan, and Turkestan. Instead of concluding the conflict legally, Iran has embarked again on a provocative stance, one that will not be accepted in a technical state of war. The General Staff of the Armed Forces has ordered the 49th and 54th armies to step away from its stabilising efforts and begin its repositioning to the frontier regions of Armenia and Azerbaijan, readying for potential assault into Iran. Russia’s Caspian Sea Flotilla and the Black Sea Fleets, the same naval forces used in the conflict, have similarly been placed on immediate standby by General Staff of the Armed Forces, in preparation for potential assault on Iran.

Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sergei Kozlov urges Tehran to cease its obvious provocations, stating that “such obvious provocations by Iran risks continued conflict, and restricts the possibility of peace by treaty.” Similarly, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov urged regional states to “apply similar diplomatic pressure in the face of rogue and absurd provocations by a state grappling with severe internal and external challenges.” Russia, a peace loving state, certainly hopes for redirection in Tehran's current policies, so that the conflict can be legally concluded by treaty.
