The other jets followed her diversion, they split from the tight wing and climbed aggressively to a shallow attack, dozens of rocket pods spewing flames as they rained chalk-filled projectiles down upon the fleet, where they burst open into a thick hazy smoke, quickly joined by streams of bright burning magnesium that scattered in slender lines across the battlegroup.
As swiftly as they struck, the trio scattered outwards...
