21,200 illegal refugees caught entering Paleria from Algeria, Spain and Morocco by sea. 11,450 of them are detected to be from Morocco and Algeria while 7,150 are Syrian and 2,600 are Iraqi. The boats were sunken by the Palerian Navy while land entrances were prevented by electric fences. 728 caught while trying to sneak in and were resent to Morocco. 192 resisted to stay away and 82 of them were arrested, while 110 were killed or severely injured by the Palerian police while trying to attack them (to police).

In total, it has 4,821 casualties, mostly due to drowning. 1,920 of the deaths were women, 2,147 were men and 754 were children.

Paleria is a country in Europe known to be having serious laws against illegal immigration. By the Act 8917 of San Fábio y Veluz, illegal immigrants cannot have the title "citizen" unless they meet the requirements. The title "refugee" was removed back in 2008, and there is no official recognition ever since. People entering the country illegally and passing the border are defined as "lathrometanastis" by the state and when spotted, their penalty is either refunding to their homeland or prison time if they resist/misbehave. Illegals have 3 days to 2 weeks before their refunding depending to the situation.
