To put it in perspective living in a 2D world, it's like you being completely blind, but you have one thin line down the center that is different colors up and down. you are also the width of that line, and you can only move in 4 directions up down and forward and back. Side to side does not exist to you. It's hard to make out what things are as the object or thing is only one small line width, and color would be the only way of defining something. If an object is in your way you have to go over, under, or remove the object as you can't go around it. you would face so many problems in the 2D world, that I would be better in the 3D world.
