As the ruler of your own country, you now have the opportunity to run things your own way. This means you get to decide things that everyone takes for granted. You can create your own weights and measures, choose which way the sun sweeps across the sky, determine your own numbering system, make your own languages, establish your own religions, and set your own calendars, whether they be lunar or solar. You have a lot to do. To help you, the Cat will start with some questions. Be sure to think about things and choose what you want for your country.
Let’s start with some basic questions:
Do your people drive on the left, right, or centerline?
Do your clocks sweep clockwise, or anti-clockwise?
What is your basic unit of time, and how many units per mean solar day?
What is your number base? Binary? Senary? Octal? Decimal? Duodecimal? Hexadecimal?
What is your basic measure of length?
What is your basic measure of mass, or weight?
Now you get to choose your coordinate system. The very first option presented is the familiar Cartesian system you use in school, and the second is the international Society of Automotive Engineers coordinate system used with vehicles and navigation.
