The state of the federation was hanging by a thread. The president was off in British Bayonet to finalize the claims on -New Europe. A large group of very vocal people known as “choklatianische retter” were angry that the country had surrendered so quickly and easily during the last imperial war. They stood outside government buildings calling them cowards and traitors. The leader of these groups was a young politician named Adrian Hallister. Adrian and his followers believed that Diche Choklate was an infallible country blessed by the gods and destined to conquer the universe. They believed that Diche Choklate could’ve taken all of HL and then some. “It is the fault of spineless politicians and a lack of respect and confidence toward their country that they had even considered tucking in their tails and running for the hills when the insignificant and empty threats came rolling in! The moment was not for cowardice but for a display of strength!” He said in a speech. He announced his running for President in the next election.
