The federation of oceanic states The Beginning of a new era, Government and Military reforms Newfoundland, now being with Canada for about forty days, stability finally has come to Canada. The Emperor has given up his power to a prime minister and a democratically elected government only holding symbolic power. Canada can now focus on internal affairs that have been building up for the past two years due to its rapid expansion. The newly elected government has decided to pull funding for the military and create a downsizing plan. By 2026 they want to have an army of 200,000 people. The Canadian army is also resetting itself and with the Royal Canadian banks purchase of L&O Holdings, Canadian troops will undergo Sig Sauer training with rifles, pistols, and automated assault weapons to train soldiers above and beyond. The Royal Bank of Canada purchased the company for 700 million dollars and is giving permission for the government to use training facilities for 200 million dollars. Also the Canadian Government has decided to invest in schools and make it mandatory for all schools from grades 3-8 along with highschool students to study a vocation. Students may select one of the 5 approved vocations but have to stick with it until highschool then they may re choose. Vocations are finance, cooking, military, repairing (handyman, plumbing, electrician, etc.), and medicine. These, although taught at younger ages, will teach students the principles of their vocation and by highschool they will actively practice rather than study. The goal is to create a skilled workforce with go getters and instilling purpose in the Canadian youth. The Vocation program will be taught with all other subjects however schools are required by law to add a vocational class to curriculum. The Military has slowed down progression on the FOS-T2 due to the new budget cuts. The Military also adopted a new military doctrine, To assert the territorial integrity of Canada. To defend the country if attacked by a foreign nation. This new doctrine very clearly states the new plan for the Canadian government is to stay to its own borders and protect the nation's borders at all costs. As stated in the text above, The Royal Canadian bank purchased the L&O Holdings company for 750 million dollars now having control of Sig Sauer (Sig Sauer is a subsidiary of L&O Holdings). The Company was swiftly in business with a 200 million dollar deal giving the company exclusive rights for training Canadian troops and teaching soldiers proper shooting, tactics, and formations. The government has signed only a four year contract and upon seeing Sig Sauer training the government will determine if it improves the Canadian army will be re-signed.
