The Nuclear Sovereign of Beinirham

Battle of Macragge, featuring Sam Day as the Space Marines vs me as the Tyranids of Hive McImperium. 3.5 hours including lunch.

Mission 3: Disarm the Fusion Core. The Space Marines disarmed the fusion core and killed 8 Genestealers before the Tyranids killed all of the Space Marines.

Mission 4: The Incessant Xeno Tide. We agreed that the Tyranids would not respawn. The Space Marines need to attempt to cross the battlefield. Sgt Octavian ended up in a last stand duel with Ronald McGenestealer and lived to limp away. We agreed that he could retrieve the Gene-seed from the dead Lt Varres when making his escape.

Mission 5a: Reinforcements. The Tyranids slaughter Squad Atreus. We determined that the Termagants we're over powered due to misreading their range.

Mission 5b: Reinforcements. Rematch. The Space Marines cautiously utilize cover to attack from a distance and slowly wear down the tide of xenos. They managed to disable the Hive Node and clear the battlefield of Tyranids before the surviving two made their way to the rendezvous point with Squad Octavian.

To be continued with Mission 6: Purge the Xenos.

I got the issue where we get to fill children's television with subliminal messages to support our government and as a result, Children spout "Do you have the little nuke inside?" involuntarily throughout the day. But in the stats it says patriotism goes down.

Must be an ineffective slogan. People are all saying it, but it's making them like the nation less and less. Perhaps a change is in order...may I recommend: "Twirling Toward Freedom"?

This is the new and improved slogan. Much better than the old "Pardon me, do you have any spare nukes?" The average little play thing, I mean citizen, does not have or seek to aquire spare nukes. But metaphorically, having the power of the little nuke inside could be a positive thing.

What's a little collateral damage in the name of mad science?

The Principality of Trotterdam

I believe that BRU MkI meant "keep those villagers with the torches and pitchforks from ruining our experiment".

The Nuclear Sovereign of Beinirham

That explains the increase in pitchfork sales.

The Principality of Trotterdam

What is the Warhammer 40000 equivalent of pitchforks, anyway?

It's a futuristic setting, they love turning all their melee weapons into "vibro" or "power" or "chain" variants. Surely they can't still be using plain old low-tech pitchforks.

No need to explain the torches, I know how much the Imperium likes flamethrowers.

Some worlds would use regular pitch forks. On more advanced worlds you would have cyber enhanced servitors with bionic limbs and power pitch forks.
