Transhumanism has just now been initiated within my nation. Another success towards the future. This also helps Human Cudoocadians empathize with AI Cudoocadians. Also cyberspace offenses are taken more seriously now.

Nah man. Gotta enter that post-post-scarcity economy where we have no resources but continue to produce despite this because we are so used to having infinite resources.

Yes, can't expect I won't mine if the problem seems mineable.

Yeah my nation mines here and there because I mainly encourage them to recycle reusable materials.

My nation I'm afraid exploited several planets to the maximum when it comes to mining :-D And it.... well, never stopped. Obsession with industry and technology is pervasive, at least when you are visiting our capital planet - Kal (formerly Khalus)

Most of our manufacturing and production is on Centennius, our first terraformed planet. It also happens to house most of our resource extraction. Not that there's much left to extract.

There was an issue that came up with my nation's governing process, that's the Sortition process. I'm keeping Sortition strictly for the psychological benefit, it keeps people from making gods and celebrities out of those in office, plus it gives all the people a chance to understand what's its like being in the center of the nation's complaints, concerns, and questions. This leaves room for anarchist mindset to kick in by understanding those in office are just regular everyday average people and really have no place of telling you how to live your life nor would you expect everyday average people to take care of you, removing the concepts of a Nanny State.

Those who are old, do you remember when my planet Kal introduced a major rework of city center of my capital "Neosanctum"? Where there is a thing called "Square of Civilizations" where many of these states and civilizations presented their bids how they want to be represented in the chosen part of this square. Many of our friends have fallen into the twilight and Square of Civilizations is now full of antique remembrance artifacts of these great nations that are now gone.

My government officials therefore decided 2 major things:
1. We are planning to rework and expand this major square, adding newcomers and all regional members who would like to be represented here as well so - PLEASE, PLACE YOUR BIDS!

2. We are also issuing new major public holiday. As universe grows older and almost unhabitable, many of us are researching on how to survive and find a way for long sustainable way to live on. But we cannot forget those who unfortunately didn't make it and were disbanded. So we came up with "Civilization Remembrance Day", where my nation will be sending a great convoy to visit these long forgotten places and honor the memory of those brave and beautiful Civilizations that are not here with us unfortunately. Would you like to join my official convoy on this journey? All are welcome and are even encourage to enrich and co-organize the flight path and ceremonies. Ceremony with cultural aspects of each Nation will be held in the place of their rest. Their food, their music, history, mythology and symbolism, drama, everything we can remember and introduce. At the end of each stop the memorial monument will be placed to their planets and systems... or to what remains....

Current flight path is:
1. Catos - this grand civilization was a major player in forming of this very Region, it was a civilization full of brave, industrious and honorable people. Their participation to this regional government was always crucial and weighted with merit and reason. You were in many ways a nation that my nation truly looked upon and are still celebrated as you were still here with us.

2. Cerveskia - this civilization is for me very special since it was the first that I got in touch and introduced into interstellar politics and relationships. He was a great Chairman of the Science Board as well as High Admiral. I'll be remembering you with a honest smile of joy.

3. Free Terand - Our left-wing capitalist nation characterized with high living standard, a major player in the fiend of agriculture and high tech cloaking devices. I always liked his ideas and professional attitude. You are missed greatly...

4. New New Zajtahn - Fallen friend in competition, at least for me. It was one of huge capitalist tigers here, my industrial cartels and his megacorporations competed permanently, there were some "private business armed conflicts", but when my nation was in need, they came and helped rebuilt our moon. My people will never forget that.

5. Tamiy - one of first cartographers and quite active member. I sometimes found him too much ambitious, but I believe it was a result of his compassion. He gave me pandas into my zoo, their descendants are still living in the National Zoo. Thank you for fine time I could spend with you.

6. Old Garcy - another agricultural powerhouse and a good friend of ours. His neverending surplus policy meant high standard of food quality and stable low prices. Thank you for everything.

7. Divillee Utedvilupon - probably the most controversial nation here. He was banned few times, he had... questionable policies, but in the end he was a valuable part of this region! He surely gave to our roleplay a dynamic boost and incentive.

8. Fabu1and - Very interesting hivemind-like nation with economy as a mere centralized simulation. He had a sizeable army and many were afraid of him, but he was actually very helpful when it came to international incidents.

9. Antarctican Commonwealths - One of my greatest allies. He always helped to me when it was necessary. Our internal politics differed greatly, but it was never issue for us as we fully respected sovereignty of the another. He was a reason why my nation has almost unlimited energy from the black hole where center of my nation is situated. Thank you... I'm happy I can still call you my friend.

10. The Cosmic Roman Empire - You were funny and entertaining nation. I remember how grotesque was your envoy when we all were visiting Catos Prime. You were also great Chief Justice. You'll always will be feasted for free shall we ever meet again!

11. Vovodocoan Space Center - This was a puppet nation, since primary nation was elsewhere, yet he was very active and always gladly commented on current situations. A nice conversation partner to say at least.

.... Now, Do you think that someone else should be added? I challenge all of you whose are somehow active: Environmental Support; Violan; The Lunar Republic; Cudoocadaa; The Beer Barony; Vinceretius; La Cocina del Bodhi .... god now I've just realized that there is so few of us remaining, it makes me a bit sad. But I really like you guys and I hope you will continue to endure! It is a fine journey with you around! ;)

Luckily it was nothing too terrible. I'm well and so is my family.

Also I'd love to be a part of your Square of Civilizations and join the official convoy.

Antarctican commonwealths

Hi, so I’m not dead yet. I have just no time for this for several months. Still fleshing out and building upon my nation’s lore so expect the first lore drop sometime in the next several weeks. I’m not dead so hi.

Antarctican commonwealths

Here’s a teaser though. So you remember the gear in my flag? Well that actually has a cultural significance to the nation.

Teaser:

Rollatero Gear:

Initially an advanced super lightweight gear developed by the Rollans Corporation, the name of the Rollatero Gear is a portmanteau of the name of the Rollans Corporation and the advanced alloy Elutero. The symbolic and near legendary status of the gear comes from the role it has in saving the Antarctican Commonwealths from total societal collapse in the trying early days of the Nation, it’s lightweight but durable nature along with it’s hollow center has allowed agricultural equipment at the time to become lighter and more compact thereby allowing food production to increase through enabling more spaces to be converted to food production and increasing output of hydroponic farms thereby ending the famine that has ravaged the nation. The gear has also allowed technological development to move at a breakneck pace by reducing the weight and space taken up by machinery allowing ensuring the survival of the Antarctican Commonwealths through a rapid development towards and employment of FTL technologies. The symbolic meaning of the gear has evolved through time from a symbol of progress to a symbol of unity between the species of the Antarctican Commonwealths. In it’s ceremonial application, the gear is casted using Eulatero from in it’s original medium sized 16 spoke configuration. in it’s neutral configuration, a Yakasa is depicted below the gear located at the same X coordinate as the center of the gear with the blade facing towards the left parallel to the tangent line of the circle. In the case of various governmental departments and organisations, the gear is flanked on the left at a 45 degree angle downwards by a Yakasa and mirrored on the right by the department/organisation’s chosen symbol. In terms of its use in military formations, the formation’s chosen symbol is located at the center of the gear, with the exception of Antarctican Space Marines and Shock troopers who have a Yakasa going through the gear.

Antarctican commonwealths

One more thing, these lore entries are written from the perspective of the Antarctican Commonwealths themselves so are prone to Antarctican biases, propaganda, and censorship from the Antarctican Government. Basically it’s written from the perspective of an unreliable narrator. I’m planning to create a puppet nation with a narrative of lore that is in contrast to the Biases, propaganda and censorship of the Antarctican narrative. Make no mistake, I never intended the Antarctican Commonwealths to be a “hero”nation that does everything right etc. I intended it to be somehwere between an Anti Villian and Tragic Villian. Basically their goals of wanting to secure the survival of their people (and Humanity) and provide a better life for their people free from the constant threat of extinction are noble. But they’re constantly pushed to resort to unethical and questionable methods of obtaining such goals due to the fact that outside circumstances (the constant wars against extinction against far greater and more powerful enemies) forced them to resort to those policies. Hell the Antarctican Commonwealths is pretty xenophilic (there’s an in lore explanation for this) since they openly accept refugees from species that were fleeing extinction. (The Antarctican Commonwealths has often allied and eventually peacefully absorbed the nations of species that were fighting against a common enemy. Though most remain staunch allies)

Nicely written, makes sense! Wish my nation would come up with this back in those days when striving for survival was a thing, but it seems that different technologies saved my nation when forced dug under the crust of Earth.

Understand. And I'm looking forward for this counter-narration as well. That may be why our nations even through their different ideologies and modus operandi were quite cooperative and effective in the past. My nation is also type of a "morally grey one" There are signs of dystopia and questionable processes, yet visible elements of effort to promote humanism and transhumanism, sending quite mixed message there.

Keep it up! :)

ES has stayed pretty utopian it's entire existence. Even though it is founded from the ashes of a fallen empire it's been consistently a nice place to live and hasn't had to compromise on it's morals to survive.

Maybe I just like hoping for something nice in this dumpster fire of a world we live in.

I get that. I wanted to express some interpretation of beauty as well, but philosophically I came from those directions that acknowledges negative logic of action, therefore in order to make something 'better' or wishing something ideal and nice, you must be in state that is perceived by you as unsatisfactory. The more unsatisfactory the state, the bigger tendency to action. And FTR is built upon this from composition perspective - the grey mix is here only because that dark part should make those 'beautiful' parts more visible, emotionally invested etc. It's similar to which cyberpunk themes use as its essence as well - you have some (often near) future that was depicted to be closer to ideal or to satisfaction in general, but it didn't deliver its promises and upon the broken promise the will or wish for the dream intensifies, that's what it makes appealing, not that extravagant effects that is just a mere coulisse hiding deeper implicit meaning, that semiotic relationship.
By one the center of this theme could be is Anemoia - being nostalgic about something that you never experienced really.
