It is the Year 3871 of the Second Era. The Power of the Empire is waning. Once spanning from West to East stretching all four corners of the world, the Empire has been reduced to a husk of its original strength. Clinging onto the central lands ruled by the Dark Lord, who is sealed away in his dark tower. All see the writing on the wall: the Empire surely is not to last forever. The border regions fight for their independence, and the homelands left on the Imperial Council scrabble to maintain their power. Each wait for when the Dark Lord finally falls, and the succession splits the lands apart forever.

Those in freedom build their power and strength, and look to develop their people and assert themselves in the future. The Empire may be clinging on, but they know their new freedom is not the end of their opportunity. Become an Imperial or Free State, be the evil or good on both sides, and forge your destiny in the Ashes of Alisor... will your nation be the next Empire?

In our Fantasy Nation Roleplay, tech periods are mixed and matched with the power of magic. Our roleplay style is semi-grounded: magic enables creative freedom, but actions especially concerning other players must have a well-roleplayed basis. The baseline tech is set at 1900, but our fantasy roleplay gives you the power to go forward and backwards in whatever way you want - within reason, especially for going forward. Our main goal is to have fun, interact with each other, and tell a good story. The current year is 2E 3874; we have a custom, live-updating time bot, so you can always check the ingame date at any time down to the minute.

The roleplay offers both avenues for a casual worldbuilding experience, to serious and detailed roleplay; Aesica offers both a live-action experience and a slower, worldbuilding and storytelling experience all in one! Create a kingdom loyal to the forces of evil, a mystical magical oasis paradise fighting for freedom, or anything inbetween! Jump in and out at your leisure.

Getting on Aesica's regional map is really easy! Here's how to get involved:

1. Become a  citizen of Aesica.

2. Join our  Regional Discord Server and send a message in  RP Introductions.

3. Send the location you want to be in to Alesina - you can pick from any of the white land. Try and make your map claim no bigger than what the other nations have, and try and keep most of your nation together. Your claim will be added to the map as soon as Alesina lets you know, which is usually pretty quickly!
