The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless population of 7.451 billion Trigrians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The relatively small, corrupt, socially-minded government is primarily concerned with Defense, with Law & Order, Administration, and Education also on the agenda, while Spirituality and International Aid receive no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ouismond. The average income tax rate is 39.8%, but much higher for the wealthy.

Hand-to-hand combat experience is udderly essential for all dairy ranchers, badminton was recently banned due to 'unacceptable violence' inherent to the game, maximum security fish farms leave caged salmon pining for the fjords, and worried-looking neonatal nurses are being deployed in place of SWAT teams during dangerous drug busts. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Trigri's national animal is the Trigrin Bear, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its national religion is Secular.
