The Community of The Amazon Package is a large, efficient nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape, restrictive gun laws, and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, devout population of 147 million pieces of cardboard are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The tiny, moralistic, pro-business, well-organized government prioritizes Law & Order, although Spirituality, Education, and Defense are also considered important, while Social Policy and Welfare are ignored. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 7.7%.

The very strong package economy, worth 10.4 trillion packages a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Door-to-door Insurance Sales, Retail, and Woodchip Exports. Average income is 70,865 packages, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 226,838 per year while the poor average 16,805, a ratio of 13.5 to 1.

Babysitters are a thing of the past, artists are pillars of society, cane fights are a common sight in nursing homes, and dessert dishes make up the package breakfast menu. Crime, especially youth-related, is relatively low, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Amazon Package's national animal is the Amazon prime day, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

The Amazon Package is ranked 235,276^th in the world and 4^th in Amazon HQ for Nicest Citizens, with 9.76 average smiles per day.
