Citizens are tied down and forced to watch educational videos on empathy, 100-year-old politicians are now a thing of the past, public projects are synonymous with yawn-inducing conformity, and billions of yen are being poured into a space program. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ryushen's national animal is the panda, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
