The Colony of MU33 is a titanic, safe nation, notable for its compulsory military service and irreverence towards religion. The democratic population of 14.592 billion MU33ians hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Education, and Defense. The average income tax rate is 17.6%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The large but inefficient MU33ian economy, worth 544 trillion Citas a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Retail industry, with major contributions from Woodchip Exports, Automobile Manufacturing, and Furniture Restoration. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 37,307 Citas, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.1 times as much as the poorest.

Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. MU33's national animal is the Vippertooth Dragon.

MU33 is ranked 195,330^th in the world and 1^st in Micro Union for Most Rebellious Youth, scoring -4 on the Stark-Dean Displacement Index.
