The Colony of KOL33 is a titanic, genial nation, notable for its compulsory military service and irreverence towards religion. The democratic population of 18.054 billion KOL33ians hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.
The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Education, and Defense. The average income tax rate is 16.5%, but much higher for the wealthy.
The large but inefficient KOL33ian economy, worth 692 trillion Citas a year, is led by the Trout Farming industry, with major contributions from Basket Weaving, Automobile Manufacturing, and Uranium Mining. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 38,334 Citas, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.1 times as much as the poorest.
Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. KOL33's national animal is the Vippertooth Dragon.
KOL33 is ranked 79,169th in the world and 1st in Kolonien for Most Compassionate Citizens, scoring 45.34 on the Kitten Softness Rating.
