The Pegasus of Guard 136 is a titanic, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its burgeoning eagle population. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 22.45 billion Guard 136ians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The medium-sized, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Welfare, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 25.0%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The large but underdeveloped Guard 136ian economy, worth 582 trillion Dollars a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Soda Sales, Trout Farming, and Pizza Delivery. Black market activity is notable. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 25,939 Dollars, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Crime is well under control, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Guard 136's national animal is the eagle, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Guard 136 is ranked 269,405^th in the world and 1^st in Death Squad for Most Advanced Law Enforcement, scoring 622.28 on the Orwell Orderliness Index.
